Hornets can’t best the powerhouse Ramblers
By Ginna Young
The ever dominant Regis came to call on the Cadott boys basketball program Feb. 9, for a Cloverbelt Conference match-up. Coming off a win over Augusta, the Hornets took momentum into the game against the powerhouse Regis, but fell behind early on.
Cadott was down by 13 at halftime and looked to catch up in the second half, but it wasn’t to be, as the Ramblers outscored them by 22 points. The game went to Regis, 73-38, dropping the Hornets to 5-15 on the season and keeping them winless in the league, at 0-12.
Leading for Cadott, was sophomore Warren Bowe, who notched 11 points, followed by junior Nolan Blum, with 9. Junior Jordan Peters came next, with 7, while senior Tegan Ritter was right behind, with 6, and junior Brodee Burish followed that up with 5 points.
