Parking lot crash

A vehicle owned by Catherine Lemke, of Medford, was parked legally in a parking stall at 224 S. Second St. in Medford on January 18 at 10:34 a.m. when a vehicle driven by Jo Ann Roiger, 75, of Rib Lake was turning eastbound into a parking stall when it hit the front right corner of Lemke’s vehicle. Lemke’s vehicle sustained minor damage.

Deer related crashes

A vehicle driven by James Borman, 64, of Medford, was eastbound on CTH O about 976 feet west of Progressive Ave. in the town of Little black at 7:14 a.m. on January 16 when Borman hit a deer. The vehicle sustained minor damages to the front of the car.

A vehicle driven by Sheila Andruszkiewicz, 72, of Gilman was eastbound on Hwy 64 and about 539 feet east of Spruce Lake Dr. in the town of Maplehurst at 4 p.m. on January 13 when Andruszkiewicz hit a deer with the vehicle sustaining functional damages.

A vehicle driven by Shirley Williams, 81, of Gilman was westbound on CTH O and about 865 feet east of Della Ln. in the town of Medford at 5:15 p.m. on January 12 when Williams hit a deer causing functional damage to the front of the vehicle.

One vehicle crashes

A vehicle driven by Jesse Reese, 32, of Athens was traveling eastbound on Hwy 64 at 8:21 p.m. on January 10 when Reese lost control due to the icy road conditions. Reese entered the south ditch and over turned once, coming to a rest on its wheels facing north. The vehicle sustained functional damage, most of the damage was on the top of the vehicle.

A vehicle driven by Samantha Eckert, 33, of Medford was traveling eastbound on Willow Ave. east of Dassow Rd. at 2:46 p.m. on January 14 when Eckert lost control due to the road’s icy condition, causing the vehicle to go into the north side of the ditch. Eckert’s vehicle sustained functional damage to the front and left side of the vehicle.

A vehicle driven by Susan Gasper, 41, of Rib Lake was traveling southbound on CTH C at 6:55 a.m. on January 17 when Gasper lost control due to the road being icy and went in the east ditch facing north, the trailer in tow became overturned. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

A vehicle driven by Aidan Immormino, 23, of Lublin was traveling eastbound at around 10:30 p.m. on January 20 when Immormino lost control and rolled over, coming to a stop on its side in the south ditch. He reported the crash at 7:54 a.m. of the next day. The vehicle sustained disabling damage to all areas and was towed from the scene.

A vehicle operated by Mathew Fellenz, 17, of Abbotsford was going eastbound on county road E with 2 other passengers in the vehicle on January 17 at 9:37 p.m. when Fellenz was approaching the intersection of Hwy 64. The driver advised he looked down for a second and failed to negotiate the curve in the roadway, entering the ditch and striking a traffic sign post. The vehicle sustained functional damage to its left front corner. Fellenz was issued a citation for inattentive driving.

Two vehicle crash

A vehicle driven by Steven Knez, 25, of Owen was traveling westbound on Allman Ave. at 10:51 a.m. on January 17 with three young passengers in the second row when he failed to yield right of way to Dean Berry, 57, of Medford who was traveling southbound on CTH Q. Berry had initiated a left turn eastbound onto Allman Ave. when Knez initiated a left turn southbound on CTH Q. Knez struck Berry on the driver side causing functional damage to the left side of Berry’s vehicle. Knez vehicle also had functional damage to the front of his vehicle. Knez was issued a citation for unsafe turn at intersection.

A vehicle driven by John Hanson, 30, of Medford, was traveling northbound on Whelen Ave. in the city of Medford at 10:01a.m. on January 22 with its emergency lights activated. Nicholas Weiss, 35, of Medford was traveling eastbound on State St. Hanson continued past the stop sign at the intersection of the two streets without stopping. The Hanson vehicle struck the right side of the Weiss vehicle. Hanson was issued a citation for failing to stop at a stop sign.


A vehicle driven by Coreen Webster, 61, of Gilman was westbound on Hwy 64 at Inn Drive in the town of Aurora and signaling to turn left on January 12 at 4:59 p.m. A vehicle driven by Glenn Lee, 44, of Gilman, was westbound signaling to turn right behind the Webster vehicle. A third vehicle with an unknown driver was behind the other two and traveling westbound and going straight. A vehicle driven by Darrin Moran, 36, of Gilman was westbound and attempted to pass all three vehicles and collided with the Webster vehicle as she began turning left. Moran received a citation for passing a vehicle indicating a left turn.Taylor County Sheriff’s Department
