Senior Connor Sheahan was close behind Schaer in scoring with 21 points and he also grabbed nine rebounds, which is impressive for a point guard. Senior center Aidan Janke led the team with 14 rebounds. Schaer also paced the team with two steals.

Athens lost to Medford, 81-57, in Tuesday’s non-conference away game. Athens now has a 10-3 overall record this season.
