Tyler J. Moretz, 22, of Medford, pled not guilty to OWI (2nd offense), failure to keep vehicle under control, vehicle operator fail/wear seat belt and failure of operator to notify police of accident. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for February 13, 2023, at 8:30 a.m.

Arne Lee Olson, 58, of Lodi, pled not guilty [written] to OWI (first offense) and operating with PAC >=0.15 (1st offense). A pre-trial conference is scheduled for January 26, at 2:30 p.m.

Nayeliris Vega Lozada, 20, of Medford, pled not guilty to operating a motor vehicle without insurance and non-registration of vehicle-auto <10,000 lbs. A pretrial conference is scheduled for January 26, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. A court trial is scheduled for February 21, at 10 a.m.

Dorian Kay Welte, 67, of Medford, pled not guilty [written] to exceeding speed zones (11-15 mph over). A pre-trial conference is scheduled for January 10, 2023, at 9 a.m. A court trial is scheduled for February 21, 2023, at 10:30 a.m.

Spencer R. Leu, 30, of Marshfield, pled not guilty to battery (domestic abuse), disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) and misdemeanor bail-jumping. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for December 20, at 11 a.m. A status hearing is scheduled for January 31, at 3:15 p.m.

Megan E. Redding, 39, of Dorchester, pled not guilty to possession of THC (party to a crime), possession of drug paraphernalia (party to a crime), possession of controlled substance, and possession/illegally obtained prescription. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for December 20, at 10 a.m.

Denean M. Samaniego, 27, of Colby, pled not guilty to battery and disorderly conduct. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for December 20, at 11:30 a.m. A status hearing is scheduled for February 14, 2023 at 11 a.m.

Deferred prosecution

Braden Jered Carstensen, 18, of Medford, was charged with exceeding speed zones (11-15 mph over). Carstensen entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for the period of six months. Carstensen is to successfully complete the first offenders program. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the court will dismiss the case.

Hank Allen Crass, 16, of Medford, was charged with license restriction violation-Class D or M vehicle. Crass entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for the period of six months. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the court will dismiss the case.

Trevor Ray Shore, 17, of Owen, was charged with exceeding speed zones (16-19 mph over). Shore entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for the period of six months. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the court will dismiss the case.

Izryel S. Mendoza, 22, of Marshfield, pled no contest to a charge of burglary-building or dwelling (party to a crime). Mendoza entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for the period of two years. Mendoza shall not commit any criminal offenses and shall notify the Taylor County District Attorney’s Office as well as the Clerk of Court’s office of any address change within ten days of said change. Mendoza shall comply with all the terms of bond which continues to remain in effect during the period of this agreement. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the state will move to dismiss the charge.

Mendoza pled no contest to two charges of criminal trespass to dwelling. Sentence was withheld and probation of two years was granted. Mendoza shall submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department. Restitution and fees totaling $14,015.19 are to be paid directly to the Taylor County Clerk of Court’s Office in the amount of $100/month beginning January 3, 2023. Mendoza shall write a letter of apology to victim due within 30 days to be pre-approved by probation agent. Mendoza shall not have contact with the victim. Two charges of burglary-building or dwelling (party to a crime) and theft-movable property >$10,000-$100,000 (party to crime), were dismissed but read in court.

Restitution

Rina Marie Harries, 44, of Medford, pled no contest to a charge of worthless checks. A forfeiture and restitution of $334.72 was ordered.
