Chiefs claw Bobcats

After some days of rest, Cornell’s volleyball program headed to Birchwood, where they proved why they belong at the top of the East Lakeland Conference.

The Chiefs made quick work of the Bobcats, winning in three sets, 25-9, 25-12 and 25-15.

Leading for Cornell, was junior Brooke Sime, who had 5 aces and 5 kills, followed by senior Michayla Turchen, with 8 kills. Sophomore Bralee Schroeder notched 4 kills and 7 assists on the night.

The win puts Cornell at 15-2 overall and undefeated in league play, at 9-0.
