Crash reports

The following car versus deer accidents were reported: Steven B. Weise, 60, of Rib Lake, on September 26, at 7:27 p.m., on CTH C, in the town of Browning; Tori Jane Noland, 30, of Medford, on September 27, at 6:40 a.m., on Hwy 64, in the town of Browning; Rebekah Sarah Lubahn, 46, of Gilman, on September 29, at 9:50 p.m., on Hwy 64, in the town of Ford; Christina Beth Graf, 37, of Medford, on October 1, at 7:15 p.m., on Hwy 13, in the town of Medford.

Last week the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department submitted an accident report to The Star News. This is the amended report. Larry Lynn Zimmerman, 78, of Westboro, was traveling eastbound on CTH D just west of W7320 CTH D, on September 15, at 3:55 p.m., in the town of Westboro. Zimmerman put on his blinker to turn left into the driveway. Dominik Allen Johnson, 24, of Holmen, was following Jacob David Cook, 19, of Holmen. Cook passed Zimmerman on the left side then Johnson passed Zimmerman on the left side. Johnson hit Zimmerman’s vehicle in the front driver’s side of the vehicle. Minor damage was done to Zimmerman’s vehicle while Johnson’s motorcycle was towed due to disabling damage. Johnson was transported to Aspirus Medford Hospital and Clinics via EMS ground for suspected minor injury. Cook’s vehicle had no damage.

Kenneth John Pace, 17, of Medford, was stopped at the stop sign of Hwy 64 and Crane Dr., on September 19, at 5:14 p.m., in the town of Medford. Pace made a left turn onto Hwy 64. Alisa Jean Marzinske, 44, of Rib Lake, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 64. This action caused both vehicles to collide and sustain disabling damage. Pace was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way. Both vehicles were towed due to disabling damage.
