Shawn Raymond Barros, 46, of Medford, pled no contest to retail theft. He was ordered to pay a forfeiture/ restitution of $455.09.

Timothy W. Frank, 42, of Medford, was charged with failure to maintain holding/septic tanks. This charge was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

Dane Preston Radebaugh, 25, of Johnson Creek pled guilty to OWI (1st offense). His license was revoked for seven months and he must complete AODA and follow through with driver safety plan. Upon licensure an ignition interlock system will be installed for 12 months. He was ordered to pay a forfeiture of $1,020.50. Charge of operating with PAC >=.15 (1st offense) was dismissed on court’s own motion.

Aaron N. Black, 40, of Medford, pled no contest to battery (domestic abuse-infliction of physical pain or injury). Sentence was withheld and a probation of two years was ordered. Black must submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department. Costs of $543 shall be paid at the rate of $25/month beginning November 15, 2022. Letter of apology to victim is due within 30 days after sentencing to be pre-approved by the probation agent. Black must also undergo AODA and follow through with any recommended treatment.

Black pled no contest to possession with intent-THC (<=200 grams). Sentence was withheld and a probation of two years was ordered with five days jail time. No huber and no good time and Black must pay sheriff and jail fees. Black shall submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department and counseling as deemed appropriate by probation. Costs of $518 shall be paid directly to the Taylor County Clerk of Courts with the same stipulations as above. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor bail-jumping were dismissed but read in court.

Larry J. Dassow, 40, of Medford, pled not guilty [written] to failure to maintain holding/septic tanks. Dassow entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for a period of 12 months. Dassow shall have until September 30, 2022 to apply for a sanitary permit to replace the system and provide proof of application to the Zoning Department. Dassow shall have until June 2, 2023 to replace the system. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the state will move to dismiss the citation.

Myron Eugene Deaton, 25, of Athens, pled not guilty to operating boat without wearable personal floatation devices readily available. Deaton entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for the period of 6 months. Deaton must enroll and successfully complete a boater safety course provided by the DNR. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the state will move to dismiss the citation.

Sheri Lynn Schafer, 51, of Conrath, pled not guilty to retail theft. Schafer entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for the period of 12 months. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the state will move to dismiss the citation.
