Obsa Ali Omer, 26, of Brooklyn Park, MN, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 64, on August 23, at 7:58 a.m., in the town of Grover, when he drove onto the south side shoulder then over corrected and entered the north side ditch, causing the truck to overturn. Omer was issued citations for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, non-registration of auto, and failure to keep vehicle under control.

Arne Lee Olson, 57, of Lodi, was traveling westbound on Wood Creek Ave., on August 27, at 12:15 a.m., in the town of Greenwood. Olson’s vehicle continued into the intersection with Timber Dr. and veered to the south, entering the southwestern corner ditch. Olson’s vehicle went airborne and then came down with the front end striking the ditch. The vehicle then rolled coming to rest on the passenger side. Olson was issued a citation for operating while under the influence.

Kendra Lynn Preschler, 36, of Medford, and Jenna Rose Wickersheim, 16, of Medford, were both backing out of parking spots on July 29, at 2:30 p.m., when they struck each other. Both vehicles sustained minor to moderate damage.

A vehicle owned by Julie Ann Judnic, of Medford, and an unknown vehicle were legally parked in the parking lot of Zondlo’s Bar, Hwy 102, Rib Lake, on August 20, law enforcement was notified on August 24, at 5:18 p.m. It is believed that the unknown driver either pulled into or out of a parking stall and struck the right rear side of Judnic’s vehicle causing a dent/large scrape. The unknown driver fled the scene without leaving any identifying information.

The following car versus deer accidents were reported: Mary Marie Dehne, 41, of Medford, on August 21, at 5:10 p.m., on Hwy 13, in the town of Deer Creek; Scott Daniel Knoff, 58, of Medford, on August 28, at 7:55 p.m., on Hwy 64, in the town of Medford; Machael L. York, 51, of Thorp, on August 26, at 4:36 a.m., on CTH O, in the town of Holway.
