Two car collision


CRASH REPORTS
Courtney Ann Guerrero, 18, of Rib Lake, was traveling on Fayette Ave., on June 11, at 12:34 a.m., in the Village of Rib Lake. A vehicle owned by Bryant Shawn Konieczny, of Medford, was legally parked in a pull off on Fayette Ave. Guerrero’s vehicle struck the rear portion of Konieczny’s vehicle that left debris in the roadway. Konieczny’s vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the accident. Guerrero’s vehicle was towed from the scene due to disabling damage. Looked but did not see was a factor in the accident.
Kylie Ann Fitzgerald, 33, of Medford, was traveling westbound on June 8, at 5:17 p.m., on Hwy 64, in the town of Medford. Fitzgerald observed a vehicle owned by Martha Lizbeth Gonzalez Herrera, 22, of Eau Claire, was on the side of the road. Fitzgerald observed that it looked like the car was going to be turning into the driveway. Herrera then attempted to make a U-turn, not seeing Fitzgerald’s vehicle, and caused a collision. Fitzgerald’s vehicle was towed due to disabling damage. Herrera was issued citations for inattentive driving and unlawful U-turn-failure to exercise due care.
Rene Albert Garcia, 39, of Colby, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 64, on June 4. Deputies were dispatched at 2:57 a.m. Garcia’s vehicle struck an unknown object in the eastbound lane, causing disabling damage to the front driver side of the vehicle. Garcia crossed over the westbound lane, and came to rest facing in a north easterly direction on the north shoulder of the roadway. Garcia stated he was not driving the vehicle, but an unknown female, who he had just met was driving. Garcia said he had blacked out after leaving the bar, and when he came to his vehicle was smashed and the female had fled the scene. Vehicle was towed due to disabling damage. Garcia received a citation for failure of occupant to notify police of accident.
Lucas R. C. Borman, 18, of Medford, was traveling northbound on CTH Q turning east on W. Broadway Ave., on June 5, at 3:33 p.m., heading to Medford High School. Borman stated that there was a spider on the steering wheel that he attempted to swat. In this, Borman jerked the steering wheel causing him to drive into the ditch. Borman stated that he was not injured, there was no airbag deployment and the vehicle sustained no damage.
The following deer accidents were reported: Joseph Cordell Griesbach, 23, of Medford, on June 9, at 10:50 a.m., on Hwy 64, in the town of Browning; Jacob Tyler Meyers, 23, of Medford, on June 6, at 9:36 p.m., on CTH O, in the town of Deer Creek; Jason Snyder Weaver, 28, of Owen, on June 12, at 9:32 p.m., on CTH E, in the town of Medford; Jett Michael Edward Rau, 16, of Stetsonville, on June 12, at 9:06 p.m., on Hwy 64, in the town of Medford; Donna Jean Webster, 47, of Medford, on June 12, at 11:46 a.m., on CTH O, in the town of Hammel; Bethanie Lynn Pollnow, 29, of Medford, on June 11, at 3:48 a.m.; on CTH M, in the town of Cleveland.
.211%. Thums was issued a citation and was placed under arrest for operating while under the influence and a citation for failure to keep vehicle under control.
