Bradley J. Blumenstein, 52, of Rib Lake, pled not guilty to the following charges: OWI (4th offense), operating while revoked, carry concealed weapon and operating with PAC (4th offense). A pre-trial conference is scheduled for June 8, at 10 a.m. A status hearing is scheduled for June 22, at 10 a.m.

Brittany L. Volkman, 31, of Westboro, pled not guilty to child abuse-intentionally causing harm. A status hearing is scheduled for July 6, at 1:30 p.m.

Steven R. Butler, 44, of Rib Lake, pled no contest to battery. The charge of misdemeanor battery was amended due to the domestic abuse enhancer being removed from the charge. Sentence was withheld and a probation of one year was ordered. Fifty hours of community service was also ordered. Fine and costs of $500 are to be paid to the Taylor County Clerk of Court at the rate of $100/month beginning June 1. Butler must submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department, and shall write a letter of apology to the victim due within 30 days and pre-approved by probation.

Charges of strangulation and suffocation and disorderly conduct-domestic abuse were dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

Sean J. Kelley, 44, of New Richmond, pled guilty and was found guilty of theft-false representation <=$2,500. The costs and restitution shall be paid to the Taylor County Clerk of Court at the rate of $100/month beginning June 1. Kelley shall also submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department.
