Chase L. LaRocque, 19, of Unity, pled not guilty to the following charges: Four charges of Burglary-building or dwelling (party to a crime), Theft-moveable property <=$2,500 (party to a crime), and felony bail jumping. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for June 9, at 9 a.m. A status hearing is scheduled for June 23, at 9 a.m.

$263.50—William Joseph Anderson, 48, of Medford, non-registration of other vehicle.

$267.50—William J. Anderson, 48, of Medford, operate without a valid license (1st violation), amended from operating commercial motor vehicle without a license-WI resident.

$393.50—Patricia Adriana Baldiviezo, 35, of Medford, operate without carrying license, amended from operating without a valid license (2nd within 3 years).

$343.50—Michael Anthony Brandner, 65, of Medford, fail to complete registration as required (bear, deer, sharp-tailed grouse, or turkey).

$544.50—Michael Anthony Brandner, 65, of Medford, place, use, hunt over or train dogs with unauthorized or illegal bait-5-25 gallons of bait. DNR seized the 10 point buck involved in this investigation.

$238.30—Steven G. Gosse, 60, of Withee, display unauthorized vehicle registration plate.

$200.50—Kamryn Tyler Harper, 17, of Medford, truancy (1st offense).

$263.50—Brok Steven Hathaway, 18, of Medford, disorderly conduct.

$417.20—Jeffrey Hartwig Trucking LLC, of Medford, violation of frozen road weight limits.

$389.50—Felecia Ruth Lablanche, 30, of Wausau, theft.

Michael Anthony Brandner, 65, of Medford, was charged with failure to keep records as required, fail to keep accurate records, or otherwise provide incorrect info. This charge was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

Tanya Kaye Hall, 40, of Edgar, was charged with theft. This charge was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

Bryan B. Boldus, 60, of Racine, pled no contest and was found guilty of OWI (7th offense). A state prison sentence of three years was ordered followed by 3 years of extended supervision. Boldus’ license was revoked for 24 months and an ignition interlock system will be installed in vehicle for one year after reinstating of license. Boldus shall submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department. The fines and costs of $3248 are to be paid through the Taylor County Clerk of Court and shall set up a payment plan. He shall also undergo AODA and comply with the driver safety plan.

Boldus also pled no contest and was found guilty of felony bail-jumping. Sentence was withheld and a probation of 3 years was ordered, consecutive with previous charge above. A charge of operating with PAC (7th offense) was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

Lucas F. Higgins, 30, of Medford, pled no contest and was found guilty of OWI (2nd offense). A local jail sentence of 5 days was ordered and license was revoked for 12 months. An ignition interlock system will be installed for one year after license is reinstated. The jail sentence shall begin no later than June 5, at 4:30 p.m. and may be served with huber and good time. Higgins shall pay fine and costs of $1,471, undergo AODA and comply with the driver safety plan. A charge of operating with PAC (2nd offense) and possession of a firearm-convicted of a felony were dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

Higgins also pled no contest and was found guilty of disorderly conduct-domestic abuse-threat. Sentence was withheld and probation of two years was ordered. Higgins shall submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department. The unpaid costs of $543 are to be paid directly to the Taylor County Clerk of Court by July 9. He shall undergo AODA and follow through with all treatment recommendations. Higgins must also write a letter of apology to the victim within 30 days of sentencing. A charge of operating a motor vehicle without insurance was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

Kenneth A. Walters, 57, of Thorp, pled no contest and was found guilty of OWI (3rd offense) amended from OWI (4th offense). Local jail sentence of 90 days was ordered. Jail sentence shall begin immediately. Walters must submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department. The fine and costs of $2548 shall be paid directly to the Clerk of Court at the rate of $50 a month beginning July 9. His license was revoked for 28 months and an ignition interlock system will be installed for 1 year after license is reinstated. Walters shall undergo an AODA and comply with the driver safety plan. A charge of operating with PAC (4th offense) was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

Walters also pled no contest and was found guilty of disorderly conduct. This charge was amended from 4th degree sexual assault. Sentence was withheld and a probation of one year was ordered. Walters shall submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department. The costs of $443 shall be paid directly to the Taylor County Clerk of Court at the rate of $50/month beginning July 9. Walters shall have no contact with the victim and shall write a letter of apology to the victim due within 30 days of sentencing and pre-approved by probation. A charge of possession of THC was dismissed but read in court.

Kaia R. Starr, 41, of Thorp, pled no contest and was found guilty of possession of THC (2nd+ offense). Sentence was withheld and a probation of one year was ordered. Starr must submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department. The costs of $518 shall be paid directly to the Taylor County Clerk of Court. Starr shall undergo counseling as deemed appropriate by probation. At agent’s discretion, Starr shall complete her GED/HSED or adult diploma through Medford Adult Diploma program. A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed but read in court.
