She had seven points and nine rebounds in a close 53-46 non-conference loss at Colby on Jan. 3 and nine points and four rebounds in a 57-34 win over Tomahawk on Feb. 15.

This year’s All-North first team includes unanimous picks Jada Eggebrecht and Kacy Eggebrecht, a senior and sophomore from Phillips, sophomore Sydney Falteisek of Abbotsford and sophomore Addison Lavicka of Athens. Athens sophomore Jazelle Hartwig completes the squad. Jada Eggebrecht is the North Player of the Year for the third year in a row.

Mike Eggebrecht was named Coach of the Year for the third straight winter after leading the Loggers to a perfect 16-0 Marawood Conference record, a 25-3 overall record and a run to the sectional final in Division 4 of the WIAA tournament.

Annala got the nod for the defensive team after providing Rib Lake with a dependable effort in all 24 games. The 5-5 Annala pulled down 3.4 rebounds and had 1.35 steals per game for the Redmen and contributed 4.1 points per game and made 26 of 44 free throws. She had a team-high seven rebounds in the Jan. 10 loss at Gilman, led the team with six rebounds, five steals and four assists in the 72-43 loss at Phillips on Jan. 24 and led the team with 14 points while adding six rebounds, two steals and two assists in the win at Chequamegon.
