Medford’s Rainbow Gymnastics Club earned two second-place team finishes and added one third-place finish at the Hub City Invitational in Marshfield Feb. 5-6.

The Level 2 team scored 110.25 team points and just missed out on first place, which the Hub City club held with 111.5 points. Carousel (109.1), Northwoods (101.075) and Bay Area Gymnastics (100.75) rounded out the standings.

Rainbow boasted four Level 2 champions.

In the 2D group, Kree Doriot was the top gymnast out of nine with 36.2 allaround points. She tied for first on the balance beam with a 9.35, was second on both floor (9.3) and bars (8.75) and tied for seconds on vault with an 8.8. Lillian Nemitz-Coleman was sixth with 34.25 allaround points. That included scores of 9.15 on beam, 8.8 on vault, 8.6 on bars and 7.7 on floor.

Aurelia Brushaber totaled 35.9 points to top 11 gymnasts in group 2C. She won the vault at 9.1, took second on beam (9.4) and floor (9.3) and was sixth on bars (8.1). Adalynn Foster was the best of 12 gymnasts in group 2F with 36.45 all-around points. She won the vault (9.5) and beam (9.4), took second on bars (8.55) and was seventh on the floor (8.95). Lena Schug took group 2B, which had nine gymnasts. She earned 35.8 points in her events, including wins on vault and bars with 9.05s, a third-place 9.1 on beam and an 8.6 on floor.

Brielle Goll (35.95) and Emeri Desotelle (35.55) were second and third out of nine girls in group 2E. Goll was second on bars with an 8.5, third on beam with a 9.3, third on vault with a 9.05 and tied for third on floor with a 9.1. Desotelle got a 9.4 to tie for first on beam, took second on vault with a 9.2 and took second on floor with a 9.15. She earned a 7.8 on bars.

Tenley Colby won the vault with a 9.1 while taking second all-around in group 2H. She added a second-place 8.65 on bars, a fourth-place 9.15 on floor and tied for fourth with a 9.3 on beam. Mady Dirkes was fifth with 34.7 points, including a 9.25 on beam, an 8.65 on floor, an 8.6 on vault and an 8.2 on bars.

Tinley Hamm added a fourth-place finish in group 2A. Her 33.1 points included a third-place 8.8 on beam, a third-place 8.4 on floor and fifth-place scores of 8.1 on vault and 7.8 on bars.

Rainbow’s Xcel Silver team scored 106.55 points to trail Team Up (109.7). Eight girls were part of that competition, including five from the Rainbow club.

Aliyah Galan was second with 36.55 points, just behind Team Up’s Laynee House (36.95). Olivia Johnson (35.05) was fifth, Alyssa Doriot and Lydia Schaefer tied for sixth at 33.8 and Brynlee Pagel was eighth with 30.75 points.

Galan tied for first on floor with a 9.55, while Johnson was fourth (9.45), Pagel was sixth (9.25), Doriot was seventh (9.1) and Schaefer was eighth (9.0). Galan was second on the bars with a 9.0 while Doriot was fifth (8.4), Johnson was sixth (8.2), Schaefer was seventh (7.9) and Pagel was eighth (6.6).

Galan’s 8.8 tied for second on the vault. Johnson’s 8.7 was fourth, Doriot (8.4) was sixth, Schaefer was seventh (8.0) and Pagel was eighth (7.4). Galan lead Rainbow on the beam with a thirdplace 9.2. Schaefer was fifth (8.9), Johnson was sixth (8.7), Doriot was seventh (7.9) and Pagel was eighth (7.5).

In Level 3 competition, Rainbow scored 105.5 points to trail Hub City (110.1) and Carousel (108.2). Northwoods (101.4), the Antigo Twisters (99.75), Bay Area Gymnastics (95.0) and Tumble Tyme (90.4) also had scoring teams.

Rainbow made its mark in group 3E, where Brooke Buechel (35.4) and Jordyn Grant (35.3) were the top two finishers and Rylee Hartwig (32.35) was eighth out of 10 entrants.

Grant won the beam (9.3) and floor (9.2), took second on vault (9.05) and was fifth on bars (7.75). Buechel was second on bars (8.4), third on vault (8.9) tied for third on floor (9.0) and tied for fifth on beam (9.1). Hartwig earned a 9.1 on beam, an 8.5 on vault, an 8.35 on floor and a 6.4 on bars.

Ruby Holtman was fourth out of eight in group 3A, earning 34.4 all-around points. That included a 9.2 on floor, good for third, an 8.8 on beam, an 8.4 on vault and an 8.0 on bars.

Olivia Schaefer was the champion in her Level 5 group by scoring 33.9 points. Out of six gymnasts, she won the vault (9.2), beam (9.0) and bars (7.3) and added a third-place finish on floor (8.4).

Lindsey Kauffman was third out of 10 gymnasts in her Level 4 group. Her 33.2 points included 8.7s on vault and floor, an 8.55 on beam and a 7.25 on bars. Mackinley Mueller was sixth out of nine gymnasts in her Level 4 group. Mueller earned 32.0 total points, including an 8.6 on beam, an 8.5 on floor, an 8.0 on vault and a 6.9 on bars.
