Accident reports

Christopher M. Gipp, 47, of Stetsonville, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 64, on October 18, at 6:11 p.m., in the town of Holway, when he struck a deer in the roadway. Gipp came to a rest tipped on his left side facing southwesterly direction in the south shoulder of the eastbound lane. Gipp was transported by ambulance to Aspirus Medford Hospital for suspected serious injury.

Emily Ann Rodman, 17, of Rib Lake, was traveling eastbound on S. Hwy 102, on October 14, at 3:15 p.m., when she dropped her water bottle, and when she went to retrieve it, the vehicle swerved across the westbound lane of traffic and entered the ditch. Vehicle suffered functional damage to the front driver’s side corner of the vehicle. Operated motor vehicle in an inattentive, careless or erratic manner, was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.

Victoria Ann-Drew Palkovich-Albright, 20, of Oshkosh, was traveling northbound on Hwy 73, on October 16, at 11 p.m., in the town of Jump River, when she failed to negotiate a left curve and the vehicle left the roadway. The vehicle entered the northeast ditch and came to rest on its side. The vehicle sustained disabling damage. According to the accident report speeding too fast for conditions, and operating in an inattentive, careless or erratic manner, were factors in the crash. The driver appeared emotional, and possibly under the influence of medications/ drugs/alchohol. She was issued a citation for driving under the influence.

Lucy Hanish, 62, of Medford, was navigating a parking lot on October 15, at 4:28 p.m., when she made a left hand turn. She turned too sharp, causing the passenger side to rub against a parking sign. Hanish’s car sustained a long scratch down the driver’s side with yellow paint transfer. The pole had the paint rubbed off.

Aimee Nicole Tweed, 40, of Mount Horeb, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 64, on October 24, at 8:55 a.m., in the town of Goodrich, when she slowed for a deer. Matthew James Natzke, 40, of Edgar, swerved and struck Tweed in the passenger rear side. Natzke was arrested for OWI (2nd offense). Operating a motor vehicle in inattentive, careless or erratic manner by Natzke, were contributing factors, according to the crash report.

Diane Marie Kellner, 82, of Medford, was traveling westbound on CTH O, on October 16, at 3:07 p.m., in the town of Little Black, when she was driving through the intersection of Hwy 13. Lane David Larock, 17, of Withee, failed to yield for Kellner, and continued to make a left turn onto S. Hwy 13 in front of Kellner. Kellner hit the back passenger side of Larock.Larock was issued a citation for failing to yield the right of way.

Kurt Dan Wood, 55, of Gilman, was traveling southbound on CTH E, on October 22, at 4:55 p.m., in the town of Holway, when he stopped at the stop sign. Wood thought the intersection was a 4-way stop, so he continued to travel into the intersection. Stanton R. Eberly, 24, of Dalton, Ohio, and passenger originally attempted to swerve out into the eastbound lane around the front of the truck, then swerved back into the westbound lane and struck the trailer Wood was hauling. The trailer detached and ended in the southern ditch of CTH A, west of CTH E. Eberly and passenger advised of possible injuries but declined medical attention. Wood was able to drive from the scene.

Kaelee J. Rudolph, 20, of Medford, was parked in a parking stall and unoccupied, on October 18, at 2:30 p.m. Marisa F. Dubois, 23, of Medford, was backing out of her

parking stall, and backed into Rudolph. Minor damage occurred.

Robin Sue Peterson, 58, of Medford, on October 22 at 6:40 p.m., on Hwy 64, in the town of Goodrich; Scott Thomas Daughenbaugh, 60, of Gilman, on October 22, at 6:40 p.m., on Hwy 64, in the town of Grover; Roger Roy Staab, 62, of Genoa, on October 23, at 2:45 a.m., on CTH E, in the town of Molitor; Theresa Lynn Vojtasek, 64, of Ladysmith, on October 23, at 7:07 a.m., on Hwy 73, in the town of Aurora; Erin Therese Kraemer, 23, of Medford, on October 14, at 5:40 p.m., on Hwy 13, in the town of Little Black; Jenny Lynn Nemitz-Coleman, 44, of Medford, on October 14, at 8:15 p.m., on CTH O, in the town of Browning; Sara Marie Matyka, 48, of Rib Lake, on October 17, at 6:51 p.m., on CTH C, in the town of Greenwood; Lauren Brent Balts, 56, of Sheldon, on October 17, at 9:49 p.m., on CTH V, in the town of McKinley; Danette Tracy Angell, 39, of Gilman, on October 19, at 7 p.m., on Rued Rd., in the town of Pershing; Kristen Sue Koshalek, 27, of Marshfield, on October 20, at 6:55 a.m., on Hwy 13, in the town of Little Black.

Victor Cobian, 39, of Racine, on October 15, at 7:38 p.m., on CTH E, in the town of Medford. Damage was done to the front, and also the right and left front corners. Vehicle was not towed.
