Jeffrey Alan Theilig, 43, of Weston, was traveling westbound on CTH M east of Spring Dr., in the town of Greenwood, on October 9, at 3:20 p.m., when he left the roadway and entered the north ditch. Theilig struck a culvert, crossed over a private driveway, and came to rest just west of the driveway in the north ditch. Damage was done to the right side front, rear, and left side front, and front undercarriage. Vehicle had to be towed due to disabling damages.

Casy Lee Weir, 42, of Medford, was northbound on CTH E, in the town of Hammel, on October 9 at 1:22 a.m. when Weir failed to stop at a stop sign and negotiate a right hand turn, entered the north ditch and came to rest against a power pole. According to the accident report, failing to control the vehicle, running off roadway, disregard to stop sign and operated motor vehicle in inattentive, careless or erratic manner were factors in the crash. A citation was issued for driving under the influence of medications/drugs/or alcohol.

Betty Jean Jensen, 80, of Medford, was pulling into a parking stall in the Kwik Trip parking lot, in the city of Medford, on October 14, at 3:40 p.m., when Jensen saw another vehicle coming and accidentally stepped on the gas instead of the brake pedal. Jensen collided with a concrete post causing damage to the front of the vehicle.

William Alexander Sherman, 51, of Medford, and James Frank Haizel, 61, of Withee, were both stopped in the entry/exit ramp for Cenex gas station onto S. Hwy 13/ S. 8th St., in the city of Medford, on October 11, at 9:30 a.m. Sherman, who was driving a semi truck for Wolf Brothers Trucking Inc.,proceeded to back up when he struck Haizel’s Ford Escape, which was stopped in traffic behind Sherman. Sherman stated he did not see Haizel while he was backing up. According to the crash report, unsafe backing was a factor in the crash.

Catherine M. Mayrer, 53, of Medford, was at a drive thru lane, on October 8, at 10 a.m., in Medford. Dennis Lee Beyerl, 52, of Colby, was parked in front of Mayrer. Mayrer idled into the trailer hitch of Beyerl’s vehicle, causing damage to the front grill.

Bohumil S. Washa, 45, of Phillips and Robert Allen Taylor, 61, of Medford, were driving westbound on Broadway Ave., in Medford, on October 9, at 5:25 p.m., when Taylor braked for an animal. Washa was following too closely, and hit the rear bumper of Taylor, causing a dent, minor scratches, and the inner lining of the trunk to separate. Minor scratches were also done to Washa’s vehicle.

The following deer accidents were reported. Annette Michelle Dassow, 50, of Westboro, on October 11, at 7:10 p.m., on CTH C, in the town of Greenwood; Randy Lee Juedes, 43, of Medford, on October 11, at 6:45 p.m., on Frey Ln., in the town of Browning; Alayna Kay VanLuven, 19, of Medford, on October 14, at 5:45 a.m., on Correction Ln., in the town of Medford; Donna Marie Conner, 59, of Prentice, on October 12, at 5:37 p.m., on Hwy 13, in the town of Medford; Cory James Niggemann, 45, of Westboro, on October 11, at 10:12 p.m., on Hwy 13, in the city of Medford.

Jessica E. Sperl, 39, of Medford, was legally parked, unoccupied in a parking stall in Medford, on October 12, at 4:14 p.m. An unknown car struck Sperl’s car and caused damage to the right, front quarter panel. The unknown driver did not report the crash, nor did it remain at the scene.
