Travis J. Akey, 36, of Withee, pled no contest to felony bail-jumping. He was found guilty due to his no contest plea. He was ordered to pay a penalty of $518. Akey also pled no contest and was found guilty of possession of a firearm (convicted of a felony). He was ordered to pay a penalty $518. Akey will submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department. He shall also write a letter of apology to the victims due within 30 days of sentencing and preapproved by probation. Akey shall undergo an AODA and comply with any treatment recommendations. Failure to complete any of these tasks, will result in 4 years of jail time.

The following charges were dismissed but read in: Disorderly conduct-domestic abuse, possession of THC (2nd+offense), possession of drug paraphernalia, burglary- building or dwelling, theft of a moveable property (<=$2500), burglary-building or dwelling (party to a crime), and three counts of theft-moveable propertyspecial facts (party to a crime).

Elli Mae Kramer, 19, of Rib Lake, made an initial appearance in court and entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for a period of one year for a charge of animal nuisance (1st offense). Upon successful completion of the deferred agreement, the court will dismiss the case.

Samantha Rose Schwerin, 35, of Rhinelander, pled no contest and was found guilty due to her no contest plea of theft. She was ordered to pay a fine of $917.50 and restitution.

Nicolas J. Sperl, 30, of Dorchester, pled not guilty and was found not guilty at jury trial to 2nd degree sexual assault/use of force.
