Week leaves Cadott winless as offensive bats go silent

The Cadott softball squad spent both their games on the road over the week, with both matches ending in losses. May 18 vs. Neillsville non-conference (L 6-5) First up for the Hornets, was Neillsville, with the score fairly matched. Neillsville began things with three runs in the second inning and one in the third. Cadott then got on the board with a run in the fourth inning, adding four more runs in the fifth. However, the Hornets would go scoreless the rest of the way, while Neillsville collected runs in the sixth and eighth innings. The game went to the home team, 6-5.
