Cornell Chiefs go cold against a hot Gilmanton team

Closing out the 2020 year, Cornell hosted the Gilmanton girls squad in a basketball match-up Dec. 29.

Accompanied by a snowstorm, the cold followed the Chiefs indoors, as the scoreboard attested to as the game went on.

“The girls fought hard and our shots were falling in the first half,” said coach Courtney Yanko. “Unfortunately, in the second half, we went a little cold and Gilmanton started making a few more shots.”
