Cornell can’t pull one off on road over Prairie Farm

By Ginna Young Cornell hit the road Dec. 22, with the boys’ basketball program, in a non-conference match with Prairie Farm, but the offense just wasn’t a factor for Cornell’s side. “We did not have it last night,” said coach Marcus Leland. “We very much struggled in all aspects of the game.” The Chiefs went into halftime down 30-16, and the second-half offense seemed to fizzle for the visitors. Meanwhile, Prairie Farm couldn’t be stopped and scored an additional 30 points, to take the game, 60-24. See Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, issue of Courier Sentinel for the complete story.
