Brian J. Zembruski, 44, Medford, and Kaden A. Trudell, 17, Medford, were involved in an accident on November 20 at 5:03 p.m. on Hwy 13 in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Trudell vehicle was southbound on Hwy 13. The Zembruski vehicle was waiting to exit a driveway on the west side of Hwy 13 and turn north onto Hwy 13. The Zembruski vehicle proceeded into the southbound lane of traffic and struck the Trudell vehicle. Zembruski said he did not see the Trudell vehicle until just before the collision. The Zembruski vehicle sustained damage to the front, left front corner and right front corner. The Trudell vehicle sustained disabling damage to the right side rear and was towed from the scene. Failure to yield the right-of-way and looked but did not see by Zembruski were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

Brian J. Romanowski, 33, Stanley, and Linda S. Boettcher, 62, Medford, were involved in an accident on November 21 at 12:13 p.m. on Ann’s Way in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Romanowski vehicle was westbound on Ann’s Way. The Boettcher vehicle was exiting a driveway to make a left turn onto Ann’s Way when it struck the Romanowski vehicle. Boettcher stated that she did not see the Romanowski vehicle. The Romanowski vehicle sustained minor damage to the left side rear. The Boettcher vehicle sustained minor damage to the right front corner. Looked but did not see by Boettcher was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.

Benjamin J. Grupstra, 36, Medford, and Brady R. Johnson, 19, Medford, were involved in an accident on November 28 at 6:05 p.m. in a parking lot at 1000 Progressive Ave. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Johnson vehicle was westbound on the main driveway of the parking lot. The Grupstra vehicle was driving through a parking lot aisle toward the main driveway and struck the Johnson vehicle, causing damage to the right side middle. The Grupstra vehicle sustained damage to the front.

Rodney G. Ciolkosz, 68, Boyd, was involved in an accident on November 15 at 7:28 p.m. on Hwy 64 in the town of Hammel. According to the accident report, the Ciolkosz vehicle was eastbound on Hwy 64 when the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The vehicle entered the south ditch and traveled through the ditch for a distance before coming to a stop on a culvert. Ciolkosz sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported to Aspirus Medford Hospital for medical treatment. The vehicle sustained damage to the front, entire right side and undercarriage. It was towed from the scene. Driver condition was listed in the report as a factor in the accident. Ciolkosz was issued citations for operating while revoked and operating while under the influence-fifth or sixth offense.

Tanya L. Schneider, 36, Park Falls, was involved in an accident on November 16 at 12:40 p.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Deer Creek. According to the accident report, the Schneider vehicle was northbound on Hwy 13 when the driver lost control on the snow-covered roadway. The vehicle skidded sideways and entered the ditch where it overturned onto its roof. Road surface conditions, weather conditions and driving too fast for conditions by Schneider were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

Eva M. Molitor, 85, Medford, was involved in an accident on November 21 at 1:03 p.m. in a parking lot at 348 Eighth St. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Molitor vehicle was pulling into a parking space when the driver’s foot became caught around the brake pedal. The driver was unable to stop and the vehicle struck the Medford Co-operative building. The vehicle sustained minor damage to the front. Failure to control by Molitor was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.

Patrick T. Schupp, 28, Rib Lake, was involved in an accident on November 22 at 2:48 a.m. on Hwy 102 in the town of Rib lake. According to the accident report, the Schupp vehicle was northbound on Hwy 102 when it left the roadway and entered the south ditch. The vehicle rolled down into the ditch and came to a stop in an upright position against a group of trees. Schupp was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown into the front passenger seat of the vehicle during the accident. The report stated Schupp was conscious upon the arrival of law enforcement and he stated there had been no one else in the vehicle. The report said Schupp appeared to have sustained a serious injury to his head in the accident and asked the law enforcement officer several times who he was. The report stated when asked if he had consumed alcohol before driving, Schupp stated that he had not been driving. The report said Schupp was transported to Aspirus Medford Hospital for medical treatment where he stated to the medical staff that he had consumed a case of beer. Schupp was issued a citation for operating while under the influence-second offense and failure to maintain control of the vehicle. The report stated Schupp consented to an evidentiary chemical test of his blood. Schupp was subsequently transported to the trauma center at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. There was damage to the entire vehicle and it was towed from the scene. Failure to control by Schupp and other contributing action were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

Paul N. Johnson, 79, Medford, was involved in an accident on November 22 at 6:32 p.m. on Beaver Creek Drive in the town of Ford. According to the accident report, the Johnson vehicle was eastbound on Beaver Creek Drive when the driver swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway. The vehicle entered the south ditch where it struck several logs in the ditch and a branch from a tree fell on top of the vehicle. The vehicle sustained damage to the front, right side middle, right side rear, left side middle, left side rear and top. Road surface conditions, weather conditions and an animal in the roadway were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

Jesse J. Knitter, 24, Owen, was involved in an accident on November 25 at 7:45 a.m. on Winter Sports Road in the town of Grover. According to the accident report, the Knitter vehicle was negotiating a curve in the roadway when the driver lost control of the vehicle due to slippery road conditions. The vehicle spun 180 degrees and rolled onto its side on the shoulder of the road. The vehicle sustained damage to the right side front, right side middle and right side rear. Road surface condition was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.

Hit-and-run accident

Dalton J.-R. Kays-Hutchinson, 24, Medford, was involved in an accident on November 21 at 11:30 a.m. on CTH M in the town of Greenwood. According to the accident report, the Kays-Hutchinson vehicle was westbound on CTH M when the driver swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a mailbox and culvert before coming to a stop in the ditch on the north side of the road. The report stated there was an open bottle of beer with liquid still in the bottle on the floorboard of the driver side of the vehicle. There was damage to the front and both sides of the vehicle. Failure to control by Kays-Hutchinson was listed in the report as a factor in the accident. He was issued citations for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and hit-and-run to property adjacent to the highway.

Scott H. Johnson, 53, Greenwood, on November 22 at 7:29 p.m. on Hwy 64 in the town of Ford.

Jeffrey T. Krause, 48, Medford, on November 29 at 6:22 a.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Chelsea.

Kim M. Schroeder, 54, Athens, on November 29 at 6:44 p.m. on Hwy 64 in the town of Goodrich.

Lawrence R. Schreiner, 17, Rib Lake, on November 30 at 12:35 a.m. on CTH M in the town of Chelsea.
