Accident reports

Terri J. Flieger, 58, Medford, and Gary J. Erl, 70, Medford, were involved in an accident on November 10 at 4:39 p.m. in a parking lot at 117 S. Eighth St. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Erl vehicle was backing up in the parking lot when it struck the Flieger vehicle, which was stationary behind the Erl vehicle. The Fleiger vehicle sustained damage to the front. There was no damage to the Erl vehicle.

Craig H. Heller, 54, Athens, and Melvin Kudingo, 73, Abbotsford, were involved in an accident on November 11 at 12:21 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy 13 and Clark Street in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Heller vehicle was stopped on Clark Street for a red light at the intersection with Hwy 13. When the light turned green, the Heller vehicle proceeded through the intersection and struck the Kudingo vehicle. Kudingo stated he had a green light and was proceeding through the intersection when his vehicle was struck by the Heller vehicle. Upon questioning, Kudingo stated that he was not certain the light was green. Heller reiterated he had a green light. There was no known witness to indicate who had the green light to enter the intersection. The Heller vehicle sustained damage to the front. The Kudingo vehicle sustained damage to the right side middle.

Chad L. Olson, 42, Stetsonville, was involved in an accident on November 11 at 5:44 p.m. on CTH A in the town of Deer Creek. According to the accident report, the Olson vehicle was westbound on CTH A and passing an oncoming vehicle when a deer ran into the vehicle, causing the front airbags to deploy. Olson stated he sustained a scratch on his right wrist from the airbag deploying, but did not require medical attention. The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front, left front corner and left side front.

Zackary A. Mottle, 18, Owen, was involved in an accident on November 12 at 6:45 a.m. on Larson Drive in

the town of Holway. According to the accident report, the Mottle vehicle was northbound on Larson Drive when the vehicle drove off the east side of the roadway and struck a rock embankment. Mottle said his windshield was frosted up and he could not see. The vehicle sustained damage to the front, left front corner, left side front and entire right side. It was towed from the scene. Failure to control, running off the roadway and other contributing action by Mottle were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

Jason A. Krumwiede, 39, Stetsonville, was involved in an accident on November 13 at 9:25 p.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Little Black. According to the accident report, the Krumwiede vehicle was northbound on Hwy 13 when the driver lost control on a slippery patch on the roadway. The vehicle slid off the roadway and into the ditch. The vehicle continued through the ditch and over the driveway at N1761 Hwy 13. The vehicle’s rear driver’s side tire became caught in the culvert. Krumwiede attempted to get out of the ditch, but the tires spun in the wet grass and mud. The vehicle sustained minor damage to the left front corner and left side front. Running off the roadway and swerved or avoided due to wind, slippery surface, motor vehicle, object or nonmotorist in roadway by Krumwiede were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

The following deer-related accidents were reported: Jeanne M. Williams, 54, Stanley, on November 12 at 5:25 a.m. on Hwy 64 in the town of Ford.

Steven L. Christophersen, 58, Owen, on November 12 at 5:37 p.m. on CTH DD in the town of Holway.

Jessica P. Young, 22, Marshfield, on November 13 at 1:39 a.m. on CTH A in the town of Deer Creek.

Roger R. Staab, 61, Genoa, on November 13 at 2:35 a.m. on CTH E in the town of Molitor.

Amy S. Pepper, 32, Eau Claire, on November 13 at 5:23 p.m. on Hwy 64 in the town of Holway.

Patrick J. Graf, 57, Medford, on November 14 at 10:32 a.m. on Norway Drive in the town of Chelsea.
