Donna M. Sauer, 89, Rib Lake, and Jill M. Fuchs, 55, Medford, were involved in an accident on September 5 at 6:36 p.m. on Rustic Road No. 1 in the town of Rib Lake. According to the accident report, the Fuchs vehicle was westbound on Rustic Road No. 1. The Sauer vehicle was exiting a driveway at W2278 Rustic Road No. 1 to travel westbound. Sauer stated she looked both ways prior to pulling out of the driveway and did not see any vehicles in either direction, then felt an impact to the rear driver’s side corner. Fuchs stated she came over a hill and struck the Sauer vehicle. The Fuchs vehicle rolled once and slid sideways on its wheels into a tree, trapping Fuchs inside the vehicle. She complained of a sore collar bone and was extricated by the Rib Lake Fire Department and transported by ambulance to Aspirus Medford Hospital for further medical treatment. The Sauer vehicle sustained damage to the left side front, left side middle, left side rear and left rear corner. There was damage to the entire Fuchs vehicle. Exceeding the speed limit, speeding too fast for conditions, failure to control, and operating a motor vehicle in an inattentive, careless or erratic manner by Fuchs were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

Rodney F. Dahl, 62, Stetsonville, and Jason J.C. Hess, 41, Medford, were involved in an accident on September 12 at 1:16 p.m. in a parking lot at 115 S. Hwy 13 in the village of Stetsonville. According to the accident report, the Dahl vehicle was backing up and collided with the legally-parked Hess vehicle, causing minor damage to both vehicles. Dahl stated that he did not see the Hess vehicle.

Patrick P. Maynard, 68, Catawba, and Christie M. Graveen, 35, Westboro, were involved in an accident on September 17 at 1:05 p.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Medford. According to the accident report, the Graveen vehicle was northbound on Hwy 13. The Maynard vehicle pulled out of a private driveway to proceed north and struck the Graveen vehicle. Maynard sated he did not see the Graveen vehicle. The Maynard vehicle sustained minor damage to the right front corner. The Graveen vehicle sustained minor damage to the left side rear. Maynard was issued a citation for failing to yield while emerging from a non-highway access.

Lucy A. Hanish, 61, Medford, and a vehicle owned by Roger I. Thomas, 100, were involved in an accident on September 17 at 3:43 p.m. in a parking lot at 107 E. Broadway Ave. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Hanish vehicle was backing out of a parking area and struck the legallyparked and unoccupied Thomas vehicle, damaging the right rear corner. The Hanish vehicle sustained damage to the driver’s door.

Zachariah R. Becker, 30, Somerset, was involved in an accident on September 18 at 3:47 p.m. on Sunset Drive in the town of Little Black. According to the accident report, the Becker vehicle was southbound on Sunset Drive when a deer entered the roadway. Becker swerved to avoid the deer and the vehicle entered the ditch where it became stuck in deep mud. The vehicle sustained damage to the front, left front corner and right front corner. Swerved or avoided due to wind, slippery surface, motor vehicle, object or non-motorist in roadway by Becker was listed as a factor in the accident.

Sarah L. Zacharias, 30, Thorp, was involved in an accident on September 20 at 9:13 a.m. at the intersection of CTH T and A in the town of Maplehurst. According to the accident report, the Zacharias vehicle was northbound on CTH T when it went through the intersection with CTH A and entered the north ditch, striking
