Shelby R. Tyler, 27, Withee, was involved in an accident on November 11 at noon on CTH T in the town of Maplehurst. According to the accident report, the Tyler vehicle was southbound on CTH T when it slowly veered off the roadway into the west ditch and struck a culvert, damaging the front of the vehicle. Tyler sustained a suspected minor injury, but was not transported for medical treatment. Failure to control, running off the roadway and looking away from task by Tyler were listed in the report as factors in the accident. She was issued a citation for a child safety restraint violation.

A county vehicle driven by Rick Sperl, 61, Medford, and Elizabeth A. Lukewich, 67, Medford, were involved in an accident on November 12 at 2:47 p.m. at 150 Medford Plaza in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Lukewich vehicle was traveling through an aisle in the parking lot and stopped behind the parked Sperl vehicle due to traffic when the Sperl vehicle started backing out of a parking space and struck the Lukewich vehicle, damaging the right front. There was no damage to the Sperl vehicle.

Melissa A. Dieter, 50, Rib Lake, and Magen A. Paul, 23, Medford, were involved in an accident on November 14 at 10:15 a.m. on Hwy 13 in the village of Stetsonville. According to the accident report, both vehicles were southbound on Hwy 13. The Dieter vehicle was slowing down for a vehicle making a turn in front of it. The Paul vehicle failed to slow down and struck the rear of the Dieter vehicle. The Dieter vehicle sustained minor damage to the rear. There was no damage to the Paul vehicle. Looked but did not see and looking away from the task by Paul were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

Mary K. Julian, 70, Medford, and a vehicle owned by Kathy L. Kenyon, 55, Medford, were involved in an accident on November 18 at 11:42 a.m. in the parking lot at Holiday Gas Station, Hwy 13 in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Julian vehicle pulled in to a parking space in front of the parked Kenyon vehicle. Julian said her vehicle was not in park and as she reached down for an item, the vehicle rolled forward, striking the Kenyon vehicle. The Kenyon vehicle sustained damage to the front. Julian was uncertain if there was any damage to her vehicle.

Zach B. Smola, 22, Medford, was involved in an accident on November 9 at 1:52 a.m. on Hwy 64 in the town of Browning. According to the accident report, the Smola vehicle was eastbound on Hwy 64 when it entered the north ditch and struck the driveway embankment at W2542 Hwy 64. The impact caused the vehicle to become airborne and it struck a tree causing it to overturn and land on its roof. Smola was transported to Aspirus Medford Hospital where he died from his injuries. There was damage to the entire vehicle and it was towed from the scene. Exceeding the speed limit, failure to control, running off the roadway, driving on the wrong side of road (intentional or unintentional) and failure to keep in the proper lane by Smola were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

David J. Kaczmarek, 49, Medford, was involved in an accident on November 16 at 1:43 p.m. on Perkinstown Avenue in the town of Medford. According to the accident report, the Kaczmarek vehicle was westbound on Perkinstown Avenue when the driver swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway. The vehicle entered the south ditch and struck frozen ground and some brush in the ditch. There was minor damage to the left front corner of the vehicle.

Lawrence R. Letendre Jr., 50, Medford, was involved in an accident on November 17 at 12:30 a.m. on CTH E in the town of Medford. According to the accident report, the Letendre vehicle was eastbound on Hwy 64 negotiating a curve in the roadway and, according to the yaw marks on the roadway, appeared to be turning left onto CTH E. The vehicle slid off the roadway and struck an electric utility pole, damaging the pole and the front and right front corner of the vehicle. Letendre stated this happened at approximately 12:30 a.m. The accident was not reported to law enforcement and an officer came upon the scene at 7:55 a.m. Letendre was located at his residence. Speeding too fast for condition and failure to control by Letendre were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

The following deer-related accidents were reported: Donna M. Klinner, 61, Medford, on November 12 at 5:17 p.m. on CTH E in the town of Hammel.

John T. Meyer, 27, Medford, on November 13 at 5:20 p.m. on CTH E in the town of Little Black.

Lori J. Kraemer, 38, Medford, on November 14 at 6:54 p.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Medford.

Robert L. Nerison, 47, Ladysmith, on November 15 at 5:12 p.m. on Hwy 64 in the town of Grover.

Sandra P. Doyle, 76, Medford, on November 16 at 6:50 a.m. on CTH E in the town of Hammel.

James B. Jendusa, 79, Park Falls, on November 16 at 5:13 p.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Westboro.

Jasmine M. Arnold, 26, Medford, on November 16 at 8:23 p.m. on CTH M in the town of Chelsea.

Jesse L. Holtz, 28, Medford, on November 18 at 10:34 p.m. on Hwy 64 in the town of Medford.
