rel “ DT” Tecsh were all two forthree for Landmark. Jimmy Lavicka picked up his first win of the year.

Beans Evergreen Disposal was still feeling “it” after last week’s victory. They slashed out hits and played timely defense in a 9-4 win over Louie/ Werner. L/W loaded the bases in the second and third innings but could not open the flood gates. L/W defense was reportedly a bit more leaky.

Village Pharm came out with a vengeance against the formerly undefeat- ed Round of Mulligans. Down 12-0 after three innings, the Mullies crept back in, aided by four uncharacteristic Pharm errors. Mike “The Agent” Boehm’s great catch kept it close. The Pharm’s 14-10 win assured them the league title with a week to go. Alex Mashak again led the Pharms 24 hit attack going three for three with three runs. Dave “Meat Man” Smith and Baum were three for four, Snipes and Zach Paul three for five with Zach having a triple and scoring three times.

On the little diamond, Edgar Lanes went up 1-0 in the first. Strobes came alive in the third inning and also scored in the fourth and fifth inning in the 7-1 win. Joe D snabbed some hot line drives on the mound and Tad and Tim had doubles for Edgar Lanes.

Fall clean-up

The Village of Edgar has announced a fall clean up day on Saturday, Sept. 25.

Farmer’s market

A farmers market will be held Tuesdays and Fridays 2-6 p.m. at the intersection of Third Ave. and Birch Street, Edgar.

Circle of Joy

The Edgar Circle of Joy food pantry is open to those in need of food in the Edgar Village Hall on the first Wednesday of the month, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and the third Wednesday of the month, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Athletic passes

Edgar Public Schools has announced it will give free athletic passes to Edgar School District residents 62 years of age or older. The passes and athletic schedules are available in the Edgar High School office or from ticket sellers at events. The passes are not accepted at WIAA tournament events which Edgar may host.
