Jaden Gardner of Granton was named to the Carthage College dean’s list for the spring 2023 term. Dean’s list honors are accorded to Carthage students who achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average (GPA) while carrying at least 12 letter-graded credits in a given semester.

UW-Eau Claire extends congratulations to the 2,528 students named to the spring 2023 dean’s list.

“Their academic performance has been outstanding, and we recognize these students with pride,” wrote Jean Piper of the university in a press release.

Area students named to the dean’s list are the following, listed by hometown, name and college.

Granton: Adeline Schoenherr, College of Business.

Greenwood: Reynold Nelson, College of Business Loyal: Keralin Genteman, College of Business; Abrial Kubista, College of Business; Hannah Peroshek, College of Business.

Spencer: Sydney Johnson, College of Education and Human Sciences; Morgan Rahm, College of Arts and Sciences; Leah Zastrow, College of Business.

Rylan Lindner of Greenwood, a finance major, was named to the dean’s list at UWLa Crosse for the spring semester of the 2022-23 academic year, ending May 2023. Qualification for the dean’s list is limited to students who have attained outstanding academic achievement. To be eligible, students must have earned not less than a 3.5 semester GPA and carried a minimum of 12 credits.

Kayla Johnson of Granton received her bachelor of science degree with a major in agricultural business from UW-River Falls. She was one of 722 students receiving degrees from the university following commencement in May.

The following students from the area have been named to the UW-Stout dean’s list for the spring 2023 semester. The award is presented to students who have a GPA of 3.5 or above. Students are listed by hometown, name and major.

Greenwood: Georgia Butterbrodt, information and communication technologies; Madelin Raese, human development and family studies.

Loyal: Jackson Lindner, engineering technology; McKenna Schley, art education.

Spencer: Chase Higgins, plastics engineering; Nathaniel Karau, manufacturing engineering; Connor Luedtke, real estate property management; Jacob Miller, computer and electrical engineering.

The following students from the area graduated in May from UW-Stout in Menomonie. The university graduated 1,173 students, with 946 undergraduate and 227 graduate school students this spring. Students are listed by hometown, name and degree. All earned bachelor of science degrees.
