The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point announced the names of students who attained high grade-point averages (GPAs) for the 2022-23 fall semester. Full-time undergraduates who earned GPAs of 3.9 to 4.0 are given the highest honors designation. High honor citations go to those with GPAs from 3.75 to 3.89 and honor recognition is accorded to those with GPAs from 3.50 to 3.74. Local recipients of honors are listed by hometown, name and honor.

Granton: Kevin Polsean, highest honors; and Josephine Voigt, highest honors. Greenwood: Kelly Nielsen, highest honors; and Brady Sorensen, highest honors. Loyal: Mya Beyerl, honors; Katelyn Geier, highest honors; Remi Geiger, highest honors; Alexis Schreiner, highest honors; Natasha Tellock, highest honors; and Rebecca Walter, highest honors.

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse has named the following area students to the Dean's List for the 2022-23 fall semester. To be eligible, students must have earned no less than a 3.5 semester GPA and carried a minimum of 12 credits. Students are listed by their hometown, name and major.

Greenwood: Austen Humke, exercise and sport science major: sport management; Paetyn Schmitz, exercise and sport science major: physical education.

Loyal: Katlyn Lindner, exercise and sport science major: exercise science - preprofessional track.

Paul Miller of Granton received his degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, following commencement exercises Dec. 18. He graduated with a degree of bachelor of science, with a physics major and biomedical concentration.

Oliva Klabon of Greenwood was named to the Dean's List at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities for the 2022-23 fall semester. She is pursing a degree in the College of Education and Human Development. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must complete 12 or more letter-graded credits while attaining a 3.66 GPA.
