Area students qualify for college academic distinction lists
UW-Eau Claire The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire extends congratulations to the 2,461 students named to the spring 2022 Dean’s List.
Students from the area who were named to the Dean’s List are: -- Greenwood: Hannah Elmer, College of Education & Human Sciences; Brooke Hinker, College of Education & Human Sciences; Madeline Johnson, College of Education & Human Sciences; Rachel Lindner, College of Business; Reynold Nelson, College of Business -- Loyal: Jordan Hebert, College of Arts and Sciences; Edrea Kubista, College of Business -- Spencer: Morgan Rahm, College of Arts and Science; Tanner Troutt, College of Business UW-Oshkosh University of Wisconsin Oshkosh officials have released the names of students who qualified for the Dean’s List and Honor Roll in spring 2022 across its three campuses (Fond du Lac, Fox Cities and Oshkosh).
The term grade-point average (GPA) requirement for University Honor Roll is 3.3; the term GPA requirement for Dean’s List is 3.75 out of a possible 4.0.
-- Greenwood: Abigail Kirchner, Dean’s List -- Loyal: Sierra Koski, Honor Roll; Olivia Mahoney, Honor Roll Harding University Collin Nieman, a senior from Spencer studying finance, is among more than 1,200 Harding University students included on the dean’s list for grades achieved during the spring 2022 semester.
The dean’s list is published each semester by Dr. Marty Spears, University provost, honoring those who have achieved high scholarship. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.
UW-Stevens Point The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored more than 2,130 undergraduate students for attaining high grade point averages during the spring semester of the 2021-2022 academic year.
Full-time undergraduates who earned grade points of 3.90 to 4.0 (4.0 equals straight A) are given the highest honors designation. High honor citations go to those with grade point averages from 3.75 to 3.89 and honor recognition is accorded to those with grade point averages from 3.50 to 3.74.
Personalized certificates of scholastic achievement are sent to those who earned highest honors distinction.
