Hello, my name is Jared Klimmer and I’m the new Tech Ed teacher in Spencer. I’m a Spencer native who’s been part of the Rocket family as a coach for several years now and I’m excited to expand that relationship to teaching, too. Prior to this I was a draftsman for a local construction company where my skill set was grown both in the office and in the field. I’m eager to share this real life work experience with my students. I also enjoy my role here in Spencer as a first time cross country coach and a wrestling coach of over a decade. I live in Spencer with my wife and two sons. In my free time I enjoy camping, hunting, and pretty much anything to do with the outdoors.

I come to the Spencer School District as a cross categorical teacher through Marathon County Special Education. Prior to this year, I was a reading interventionist at Medford Middle School. This is my 34th year of teaching!

I grew up in Stratford and currently live in Marshfield. I have three grown children and two grandchildren. I went to college at UW-Eau Claire and received my masters at Concordia University of Wisconsin.

In my free time I enjoy traveling, camping, live concerts and the outdoors. I thoroughly enjoy the summer months but also like the fall season. The winter is tolerable because I do like to snowshoe. Once spring comes, I am excited to make summer plans!

Hello, my name is Christa Hoheisel and I love middle school! I am teaching eight- grade Humanities, English/ Language Arts (ELA) and Social Studies this year. I truly believe that all students can succeed and I am very excited to be able to support and guide Spencer students to realize their full potential.

A transplant from Michigan, I went back to school at UW-SP to obtain a Wisconsin teaching license. Since 2008, I have taught a variety of subjects including ELA, Social Studies, Math, STEAM, Social and Emotional Health and various other topics -- all at the middle school level.

I reside with my husband in Hewitt, where we raised three boys. Now, I get to focus on raising our canine kids. I love traveling back to Michigan and being outdoors, going to live music events, and spending time with family and friends. I am very excited to be part of the Rocket Family!

My name is Samuel Buchberger. I am the new Middle School Special Education Teacher. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire last December. I love the outdoors and sports. I look forward to getting to know everyone and becoming part of the Rocket family!

Hello, my name is Jessica Daley and I am the new FACS and health teacher here at Spencer. I’m originally from a suburb of Chicago where I lived the majority of my life. I graduated from UWStout in December 2020 and started my teaching career in January 2021 at Spencer. At Stout I played softball for four years and was able to participate in multiple clubs. Playing sports and coaching are my two hobbies and I’m so happy I can continue doing that while teaching. I’m very excited for this school year and can’t wait to teach students life skills.

Mr. Brent Wambold joins the Spencer High School staff in the math department. He will be teaching Algebra One, Geometry, Intro Stats and Consumer Math. This will be Brent’s 39th year in education. His local positions have been seven years with Mercer High School and 12 years with Marshfield Columbus High School.

Mr. Wambold grew up on the north shore of Lake Geneva on the Illinois state line. His undergraduate degree is from UW-Whitewater. He has two surviving siblings, a brother in Michigan and a brother in Southern California. Mr. Wambold currently lives on the east side of Marshfield and is enjoying his new academic family in Spencer.
