This “Coming Events” column is for non-fundraising events. The exception is for fundraisers which are accompanied by a paid advertisement.

The Loyal Community Food Pantry at 228 N. Main Street will be open on Tuesdays from 9 a.m.-noon, Wednesdays from 2:30-5 p.m., and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-noon. For information, call 715-503-1071.

The first of four August Spencer Area Chamber of Commerce Concerts in the Park will begin at 6 p.m. with music by Jackson Taylor. The event will be held in the Lions Park and will also include the citizen and business of the year recipient announcements. Food will be available, with proceeds to go toward the purchase of automatic defi brillator units for the community.

Spencer area garage sales will be held throughout the community, with maps to be available online and at various locations by Aug. 2. A Pie in the Park lunch will be served on Aug. 5 in the Village Park.

The Branstiter “Old Streets of Greenwood” museum will be open to the public from noon-3 p.m. both days.

The second of four August Spencer Area Chamber of Commerce Concerts in the Park will begin at 6 p.m. with music by The Foxfire Affair. Food will be available, with proceeds to go toward the purchase of automatic defibrillator units for the community.

The annual Clark County Fair will be held at the county fairgrounds in Neillsville. Junior division animal and project judging will take place through the weekend, with adult open classes as well and grandstand entertainment.

The Second Annual Open House at The Highground’s Camp Victory west of Greenwood on Sterling Avenue will be held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. There will be food, raffl es, a silent auction, and guided tours of the facility to serve veterans and veterans with disabilities.

The Spencer Area Historical Society museum at 117 E. Clark St. will be open to the public from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

An Anmerican Red Cross blood drive will be held from 12:30-5:30 p.m., at the Loyal American Legion.

The Greenwood Food Pantry at Missionary Baptist Church will be open from 2-5:30 p.m. for any residents in need of assistance.

The third of four August Spencer Area Chamber of Commerce Concerts in the Park will begin at 6 p.m. with music by The Balsam Road Ramblers. The event will be held in the Lions Park and will also include the crowning of the new Miss Spencerama, Junior Miss Spencerama, and Little Miss Spencerama. Food will be available, with proceeds to go toward the purchase of automatic defibrillator units for the community.
