OURT Jesse J. Bergeron, 19, Eau Claire, was sentenced to 10 days in jail and fined $1,504 for a second OWI offense. His driver’s license was revoked for 12 months, an ignition interlock device is to be placed on his vehicle for 12 months, and he is to undergo an alcohol assessment. He was also sentenced to 30 days in jail for criminal trespass to a dwelling. The jail sentence was stayed pending completion of AODA treatment and he was placed on probation for two years and was ordered to pay $580.65 in fines and costs. He was also fined $886 on two charges of theft of moveable property. A charge of burglary to a building or dwelling was dismissed but read-in to the court record.

Jose O. Carrillo Torres, 35, Lorain, Ohio, was fined $330.50 for retail theft. Charges of credit card/theft by acquisition and credit card/fraudulent use were dismissed but read-in to the court record.

Duane D. Jaskot, 66, Thorp, was sentenced to five days in jail and fined $3,899 for a second offense of operating a vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance. His driver’s license was revoked for 12 months, an ignition interlock device is to be placed on his vehicle for 12 months, and he is to undergo an alcohol assessment.

Damien T. Kopp, 28, Abbotsford, was sentenced to five days in jail and fined $1,514 for a second offense of operating a vehicle with a prohibited blood alcohol concentration. His driver’s license was revoked for 12 months, an ignition interlock device is to be placed on his vehicle for 12 months, and he is to undergo an alcohol assessment.

Darrin M. Loberg, 18, Neillsville, was placed on probation for two years and fined $443 on each of two counts of intentionally giving false alarm.

Miguel A. Montano, 44, Paxton, Ill., was sentenced to 120 days in jail (stayed pending appeal) and fined $7,774.75 for a fourth offense of operating a vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance with a passenger under the age of 16. His driver’s license was revoked for 27 months, an ignition interlock device is to be placed on his vehicle for 27 months, and he is to undergo an alcohol assessment.

Melanie A. Podeweltz, 25, Unity, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for disorderly conduct/domestic abuse/repeater. The jail sentence was stayed and she was placed on probation for 12 months and fined $543. A disorderly conduct charge was dismissed but read-in to the court record.

Katherine L. Sutherland, 28, Neillsville, was placed on probation for 18 months and fined $443 for operating a vehicle while revoked for an alcohol-related violation and $443 for bail jumping/repeater. She was also placed on probation for 18 months and fined $443 for possession of an illegally-obtained prescription/repeater. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia/repeater, nonregistration of a vehicle, displaying an unauthorized vehicle registration plate, operating a vehicle without insurance, and operating while revoked were dismissed but read-in to the court record.

Goodwin R. Westbay, 58, Neillsville, was sentenced to nine months in jail, placed on probation for three years, and fined $4,344.22 for a fifth OWI offense. His driver’s license was revoked for 33 months and an ignition interlock device is to be placed on his vehicle for 24 months. Charges of possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, and open intoxicants in a vehicle/driver were dismissed but read-in to the court record.

Codii R. Young, 32, Hayward, was placed on probation for 24 months and fined $986 on two charges of bail jumping/repeater and $443 for operating vehicle while revoked for an alcohol-related offense/repeater. Two additional counts of bail jumping/repeater were dismissed but read-in to the court record.
