Local students earn various post-secondary school honors

UW-Oshkosh

University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh officials have announced students who qualified for the University Dean’s List and Honor Roll in the fall of 2019 across its three campuses (Fond du Lac, Fox Cities and Oshkosh).

To qualify for the honor roll on UWOshkosh campuses, a student must take at least 12 credits and earn a grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.3 (out of a possible 4.0). Those with a GPA of 3.75 or better qualify for the Dean’s List.

Local students earning honors are: -- Granton: Trisha Naedler, Honor Roll; Jill Richmond, Dean’s List -- Greenwood: Abigail Kirchner, Dean’s List -- Loyal: Alexis Dietsche, Honor Roll; Lane Meyer, Honor Roll; Ryleigh Wilke, Honor Roll Minnesota State-Mankato The Academic High Honor and Honor lists (Dean’s lists) for the past fall semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato have been announced by interim Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Matt Cecil.

Among 3,445 students, a total of 915 students qualified for the High Honor List by achieving a 4.0 straight “A” average, while 2,530 students earned a 3.5 to 3.99 average to qualify for the Honor List.

Jack Burnett of Spencer was named to the High Honor List.

UW-La Crosse The following area students completed degree requirements at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in December.

UW-Milwaukee

The following individuals from the area have been named to the Dean’s List at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for the Fall 2019 semester. UWM is the second largest university in the State of Wisconsin, with approximately 25,000 students, both undergraduate and graduate.

-- Willard: Jamie Reit, Nursing Undergraduate UW-Platteville

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville announces its Dean’s List, honoring those full-time students who earned high honors in their respective colleges in the fall 2019 semester.

The College of Business, Industry, Life Science and Agriculture and the College of Liberal Arts and Education require grade-point averages of 3.75 and above for Dean’s List honors, while the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Science requires students to reach at least a 3.50.
