The following made initial appearances in court and entered pleas of not guilty: Carlos G. Gomez Soriano, 28, Medford, child safety restraint violation, operating without a valid license-first offense, operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration (PAC) with passenger under 16 years old (PAC greater than or equal to 0.15 percent) (first offense) and operating while under the influence(first offense with passenger under 16 years old); Nichole E. Odell, 27, Buckeye, Ariz., resisting/ obstructing an officer; James K. Allen, 27, Rib Lake, speeding 20-24 mph over the limit; Colbe N. Bull, 16, Medford, speeding 25-29 mph over the limit; Clement A. Smith, 65, Gilman, operating while under the influence-first offense.

Marshall J. W. Fuchs, 19, Medford, pled no contest to underage drinkingpossession (first offense). Fuchs forfeited $263.50 and his driverโ€™s license was suspended for 30 days. $1,250.50: James M. Sweda, 43, Owen, worthless checks (restitution).

$515.50: Regina K. Rottler, 42, Westboro, resisting/obstructing an officer.

$389.50: Debra R. Kallenbach, 60, Medford, retail theft; Weston G. L. Leonhardt, 18, Medford, reckless driving-endangering safety; Sarah L. Zacharias, 29, Thorp, failure of operator to notify police of an accident.

$388.50: Brian J. Peterson, 34, Stetsonville, two counts of worthless checks ($388.50 each count, restitution).

$200.50: Jose Gonzales, 16, Abbotsford, operating without a valid license-first offense; Donley O. Niskanen, 57, Athens, speeding 16-19 mph over the limit; Benjamin Sanchez Tzanahua, 38, Owen, operating without a valid license-first offense; Philip A, Schwantes, 23, Rothschild, operating while suspended.

$175.30: Jose Gonzales, 16, Abbotsford, red traffic light violation.

$10 proof of insurance violation: Brian T. Atwell, 46, Oshkosh.
