The following appeared in court and entered pleas of not guilty: Jeffrey A. McCulley, 27, Neillsville, disorderly conduct (domestic abuse-threat), manufacture/delivery of THC-greater than 200 to 1,000 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a drug trafficking place; Pamela L. Jensen a.k.a. Pamela Lynn Jensen, 55, Medford, disorderly conduct-domestic abuse; Ann M. Hartwig, 17, Medford, possession of THC (possession of a controlled substance on or near certain places); Ashley M. Becker, 19, Athens, possession of THC (possession of a controlled substance on or near certain places) and possession of drug paraphernalia; Todd M. McKenzie a.k.a. Todd Matthew McKenzie, 50, Medford, battery.

Jesse G. Birkholz, 23, Medford pled no contest to disorderly conduct and entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for a period of one year. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the court will dismiss the case.

Matthew G. Czerniak, 30, Medford, pled no contest to disorderly conduct and forfeited $443.

Aries D. Johnson, 19, Medford, pled no contest to a reduced charge of speeding 16-19 mph over the limit and forfeited $200.50.

Diana S. Essoka, 22, Medford, pled no contest to intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child. Sentence was withheld and Essoka was placed on probation for one year on the condition she pay a forfeiture of $443 and supervision fees as ordered by the Department of Corrections (DOC); submit to a DNA sample; undergo counseling as deemed appropriate by probation; and undergo an alcohol and drug assessment within six months of plea and sentencing and comply with all treatment recommendations. She also pled no contest to a count of possession of THC. Sentence was withheld and Essoka was placed on probation for one year. Forfeitures and conditions are the same as for her other probation. Upon successful completion of each probation, Essoka may petition the court for expungement. A count of prostitution-non-marital sexual intercourse was dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes.

Dustin M. Guski, 35, Ashland, pled guilty to possession of an illegally obtained prescription. Sentence was withheld and Guski was placed on probation for one year on the condition he pay a forfeiture of $443 and supervision fees as ordered by the DOC; submit to a DNA sample; undergo counseling as deemed appropriate by probation; and undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and comply with all treatment recommendations. Two additional counts of possession of an illegally obtained prescription were dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes.

Heather M. Piller, 32, Greenwood, pled no contest to possession of a controlled substance. Sentence was withheld and Piller was placed on probation for one year on the condition she pay a forfeiture of $443 and supervision fees as ordered by the DOC; submit to a DNA sample; undergo counseling as deemed appropriate by probation; and undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and comply with any treatment recommendations at the probationary agent’s discretion. Counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotic drugs and neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur) were dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes.
