House Moved to Airport
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sanders, who purchased the Airport Bar, about a mile south of Abbotsford, moved the Lawrence Olson house from Cherokee onto their property.
Firemen’s Carnival Success
The four day festival, sponsored by the Abbotsford Volunteer Fire Department last weekend, was a success in spite of the cold weather. Proceeds will be used for firefighting equipment.

Riplinger Park
Community people are building a park in Riplinger next to the Lutheran church. It will have a shelter and playground equipment. Roscoe Meacham, Delores Justman, Dorothy Neuman and Ronald Bruesewitz are members of the park committee.
Horse Pull Event
Curtiss hosted a horse pull Sunday. Contestants brought teams from all parts of central Wisconsin. The horse pull, sponsored by the Curtiss Fire Dept., was postponed twice because of rain.

Koch to be inducted
Dr. James W. Koch will be inducted into the state’s 50-year club. Koch moved his medical practice to Colby in 1952 and during that time, he delivered 2,874 babies plus 17 sets of twins.
St. Louis fall festival
St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester, celebrated its fall festival with a Polka Mass. The Mass was followed by a dinner, a petting zoo and an auction.
