“Breath of Life” campaign drive started Monday Mrs. Barry Fetting was named the chairman of the “Breath of Life” campaign, which was set up to help combat children’s lung diseases. Local volunteers are raising funds to support research and care programs for children affected by cystic fibrosis, severe asthma, chronic bronchitis, and other lung maladies.
Abby schools mil rate up A proposed mil rate of 18.74 is 2 mils higher than the prior rate of 16.74. The reason given for the increase were to balance against large projects for a proposed storm sewer construction and the building of a new swimming pool.
Abby slow pitch in three-way tie The Rippon Goods, Whiz Kids and Cracked Bats all held a 4-2 record to sit atop the Abbotsford mixed couples slow pitch softball league.
