Is E.T. trying to phone home?

Is E.T. trying to phone home? Is E.T. trying to phone home?

With many different ideas floating around in my head my gaze falls onto one singular hair floating in the wind. My thoughts get swept up in watching the tiny strand of hair that, some short while ago, was, for lack of a better term, attached to the feline, who has been named Demo. If I try to grab the alone strand of hair in a quick motion chances are, the force of energy I manipulate will push it only further from me. If I take my time and slowly move in proximity to it, the chance of me plucking it from ‘thin’ air will be much better.

Now, I can steer this column in one way: if another life form with cognitive ability were to ever land on this planet, I wonder if they would have the same fixation that I and other wonderers’ have for everything miniscule; or another way: if you try to hurry up to grab something in life, chances are the force that you have behind your want will push it further from you, until you tire from trying to reach and give up.

So which way shall we go... Extraterrestrials or life lesson? Two drastic differences in topics. Yep, sounds like me. My mind on two or more extremely different mind paths. One is a safer bet to talk about. The grasping at life in a hasty way because most everyone can relate to it. The feeling of going after something you so desperately want quickly and with gusto. Which is good because it shows passion but if you don’t do it tactfully, will it ever be enough once you achieve it, or will tiresome win?

Or... I can talk about other wonder and awe-inspiring topics like planets and outer space. “The final frontier” as it was stated in the famous show Star Trek.

Let me think... Why don’t we try a bit of an adventure.

Recently, the mention of UFO and UAP (unidentified aerial phenomena) sightings and whistle-blowing is all over the news and radio stations. I haven’t went out searching for these findings, they found me. Now I do have to say once, over several days of repetitively hearing these claims, I went and searched the interwebs.

I fell onto a couple of websites, i.e., intel.gov, nasa.gov, usa.gov and the like and started reading the official reports, but then realized that this is just our government’s view on the subject. I said an adventure and I was reading data. It is an adventure to me but to you, my readers... How could I convey the data I read into a story for you?

The data here is from what we humans are trying to learn. But what about the possible awe and wonder these creatures might have for our planet and for our species? I know it sounds out there but have you ever considered landing on a different planet, possibly as a singular or with some amigos.

It’s a strange planet. They all are. We just call this one home because we don’t have experience elsewhere. What if these extraterrestrial’s are just curious about us? Would they get caught up in watching a singular form of a highly complex structure that we call hair floating in the wind?
