Clark Co. Foundation cancels annual meeting
The 2020 annual meeting of the Clark County Community Foundation, Inc. — originally scheduled for April 2 — at the Thorp American Legion Hall has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
Anyone who registered and paid for their attendance that evening will be sent a refund.
The CCCF sends its appreciation to the volunteers at Page Forward – Volunteers for Literacy in Clark County, who had agreed to be the guest speakers that evening, and to the Thorp American Legion Hall and Auxiliary for their efforts in hosting this event.
The 2019 Foundation Annual Report will be mailed to its donors in the coming weeks and will also be posted on the website by early April 2020.
The foundation’s 2020 scholarship programs, however, are proceeding as planned. The deadline for mailing completed applications was March 31.
This year, scholarships are available to eligible area high school graduates from the following sources: the Clark County Community Scholarship Fund (county-wide),the Teresa Johnson Memorial Scholarship Fund (countywide), the Harry and Esther King Memorial Scholarship Fund (Neillsville High School) and two $500 scholarships (Colby High School) in honor of the Kunick family.
Interested students are encouraged to visit the CCCF website at www.clarkccf. org for scholarship information and to download the necessary application forms. Anyone having problems accessing forms, obtaining requested items, or meeting the deadline, should contact the Foundation at 715-937-6167.

As always, but especially this year, it is the intention of the Foundation to be flexible and to accommodate circumstances that may arise. Prior approval by the Foundation of any application exceptions will be necessary.
