Medford board rejects video scoreboard, sets calendars
Activities director Ryan Pilgrim brought forward a proposal from Daktronics Sports Marketing to replace the scoreboard at Raider Field in Medford with the 25 foot by 8 foot video scoreboard at a cost of $282,000. The proposal called for the district fronting the money for it and then seeking sponsors at the amount of $60,000 per year to pay it off.

A proposal to spend $282,104 on a video scoreboard for the Medford Area Senior High School field fell flat at both the district’s finance committee and full school board on Monday night.
