Rib Lake School District welcomes new teachers
Brady Bolz Brady Bolz will be teaching health and physical education at Rib Lake Middle School. He is a native of Phillips, a 2013 graduate of Phillips High School and graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 2018. He has taught fifth grade in Phillips for five years.
His girlfriend is Arica Beard and he has two stepchildren, Grant Beard, 14, and Hank Beard, 12, along with a child, Lane Bolz, 1.
When not teaching Bolz describes himself as being a big fan of all Wisconsin sports teams including the Brewers, Badgers, Bucks and Packers. He also like to golf and enjoys spending time outdoors.
Alliyah Treu Alliyah Treu will be teaching grades three to five general music and grades six through 12 choir at Rib Lake School District. Treu grew up in the Wausau School District attending Maine Elementary School, John Muir Middle School and Wausau West High School. She attended UWStevens Point from 20202025 earning a Bachelors of Music (Music Education) with an art minor. She student taught last spring at Wausau West and is excited about starting her first teaching job. When not teaching she enjoys reading, hiking, baking, playing games including video, board and card games and making art.
Tamara Cox Tamara Cox is the business education teacher at Rib Lake School District. She was born in Germany and spent most of her time growing up in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. She has an associates degree in marketing communication from MATC, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English education from UW-Stevens Point, a Master of Science degree in Education Administration from Concordia. She has all but her dissertation completed for a doctorate in e-Learning from Northcentral University. Previously she taught English
Lainey, 4, and Luca, 3. When not teaching, she enjoys thrifting, spending time with her friends and family, being outside, camping, cooking and baking.
Ricky Leonhard Ricky Leonhard is the new woods and metals shop teacher at Rib Lake High School. He is a Rib Lake native and graduated from Rib Lake High School in 1995. This is his first year teaching after spending 30 years working in fabrication, carpentry and manufacturing. His fiancé is Brenda. He has three sons Jaylen, 24; Briley, 16; and Cayden, 15. When not teaching he enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors and woodworking.
