A new place to gather, worship, and build community is coming to the Greenwood-Loyal area this fall. North Ridge Church of Marshfield launches a new campus on Sunday, Sept. 7, meeting each week at Greenwood High School at 10 a.m.

The new campus serves the Greenwood and Loyal areas, as well as all surrounding communities, by offering a welcoming space for people of all ages and backgrounds to connect with Jesus and with one another.

Preston and Aimee Tippen, co-lead pastors of North Ridge Church, have been serving the Marshfield area since 2007. Greenwood’s own co-campus pastors, Jeremy and Jenny Bauer, are looking forward to getting to know their neighbors and helping the community grow closer—both spiritually and personally.

Jeremy is a Loyal native, and Jenny grew up on her family’s farm in Auburndale. Together, they have owned businesses and served in the communities in which they lived. Currently, they live east of Loyal with their four children: Preston, Zachary, Aryana, and Silas.

Over the years, Jeremy and Jenny have served in several ministries, including being on staff at North Ridge Church. They participated in and led connections ministry, hospital ministry, small groups, prayer ministry, and marriage mentorship. Some of their favorite ministry happens and multiplies through relationships. This is one of the major factors leading them as they step into this new role as campus pastors.

In their free time, Jenny and Jeremy enjoy God’s great outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating, cards, board games, movies, traveling, antique shopping, mowing the lawn, listening to live music, cutting firewood, and UTV rides. When not at home or in their hobbies, you will find them working with their construction company.

“We love this community and believe God is doing something special here,” said Jeremy Bauer. “Our hope is that everyone—whether they’ve gone to church their whole life or have never stepped foot in one—feels at home the moment they arrive.”

North Ridge Church leadership has a conviction that every community should have access to a healthy church. After three years of prayer and planning, North Ridge Church in Marshfield knew it was time for a location in the Greenwood–Loyal area. Many Greenwood and Loyal residents already travel to Marshfield on Sundays, and the new campus will make it easier for neighbors to connect closer to home. The Bauers will lead the campus with their deep love for ministry and their neighbors, fueling their excitement to nurture a thriving faith community close to home.

The Greenwood-Loyal campus engages people of all ages with uplifting music, practical messages, and an engaging children’s ministry each Sunday. The church will host events and opportunities for the community to come together beyond Sunday mornings as well.

The public is invited to join the very first service on Sept. 7 at Greenwood High School, beginning at 10 a.m. Come as you are—coffee will be ready, smiles will be waiting, and there’s a seat for you.
