Fulcrum Foundation announces $1.1 million in grants to area projects


The Fulcrum Foundation, Inc. granted $1,121,800 to numerous community organizations.
Funding will help the following organizations achieve their goal to serve their communities. Organizations receiving funding include: Gilman School District – K-20 Industrial Makerspace & Playground Equipment Medford City Baseball – Facility Enhancements Our Village Playground – Phase II All – Inclusive Playground Prentice School District – Track Renovation Rainbow Gymnastics – Facility Upgrades Rib Lake School District – Playground Equipment Sand Box Inc. – Facility Upgrades Stetsonville Volunteer Fire Department – Engine 401 Replacement Taylor County Drug Opposition Partners – Project HOPE (Help, Option, Prevention and Education) Taylor County Literacy Council – R.E.A.D. Initiative Taylor County Human Services – Foster Parent Recruitment & Retention and Delinquency Prevention Fulcrum Foundation is now accepting letters of interest for its 2024 Request for Proposal. Letters of interest must be submitted by April 15, 2023. Requests greater than $25,000 each are preferred; however, all requests may be considered.
Fulcrum Foundation is a private, charitable foundation dedicated to its mission to Support the community’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and societal well – being determined by identified priorities. The organization was established in July 2022 when it transitioned its ownership stake in Aspirus Medford Hospital to Aspirus, Inc. With this change, Fulcrum Foundation shifted its purpose from a charitable membership organization (formally known as Memorial Member Association) to a charitable, non – member private foundation. The funds from this transition, along with the funds from the original unification of Medford Hospital and Clinics with Aspirus, will be utilized by Fulcrum Foundation to support the communities it represents.
Fulcrum Foundation’s Board of Directors include John Lange, Leonard Hamman, Dale Hustedt, Randy Juedes, Candice Grunseth, Jason Steliga, Colton Freiberg, William Klingbeil, Beth van der Berg and Courtney Graff.
