Juan Carlos Davila Pinto, 17, of Medford, was charged with truancy. Charge was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.

Heather J. Rust, 45, of Cadott, pled no contest to obtaining controlled substance by fraud. Sentence was withheld and a probation of three years was ordered. A jail time of four months was also issued and is to begin no later than January 16, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. Rust must submit to a DNA sample at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department. Costs of $1,157.17 are to be paid directly to the Taylor County Clerk of Courts Office in the amount of $50/ month beginning December 9. Rust shall undergo AODA and follow through with any recommended treatment and shall have no contact with the victim. Rust shall also write a letter of apology due within 30 days to be pre-approved by probation and attend counseling.

Rust pled not guilty to theft of a moveable property <=$2,500. Charge was dismissed but read in court.

Angelo Josue Martinez, 18, of Medford pled no contest to operating a motor vehicle without insurance. He was ordered to pay a forfeiture of $200.50.

Martinez pled no contest and was found guilty of OWI (1st offense). His license was revoked for seven months and he must complete AODA and follow through with the driver safety plan. Martinez was ordered to pay forfeiture of $876 and shall attend the Victim Impact Panel on January 5, 2023. Charges of operating with PAC >=0.08, <0.15 (1st offense) and possession of open intoxicants in vehicle-driver were dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.
