Aurora Community Clinic joins facility to offer local healthcare access

Borealis Wellness Clinic has officially opened its new offices at 123 West State Street in downtown Medford.

The building is located across the street from the Medford Area School District. On Wednesday afternoon, a grand opening and community open house was held at the new 6,000 square foot facility which in addition to housing Dr. Sam Klinner’s chiropractic practice the new office also includes same-day family medical services through Aurora Community Clinic. Aurora Community Clinic is owned by Ashley Klinner. Ashley earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in May of 2021. Ashley Klinner DNP, along with Medford native Ashley Malchow FNP will be providing a barrage of affordable Family Medical care to the community at large.

In addition, the new venue will continue to offer Chiropractic, Nutrition, Massage and Physiotherapy services through Borealis Wellness Clinic.

“Our goal is to not only provide top quality Chiropractic and Medical care to communities in and around Taylor County, but also to help local businesses save valuable time and money by offering quality medical care at a fraction of the cost of a typical hospital visit. Patients can then submit their itemized receipt, complete with diagnosis and treatment codes, to their insurance company or employer for reimbursement,” Sam Klinner said.

He said they had just outgrown the previous location which had about 2,000 square feet of space. “It is a big jump,” he said of the move noting that with the additional space everyone will have their own space with a little extra room to grow.

Aurora Community Clinic offers flat pricing rates based on the level of the appointment and the patient needs.

Level one include acute illness, insect bites, acute rashes, sports physicals and ear wax removal.

Level two visits include acute or chronic illness that is more complex than level 1, preemployment and DOT physicals, removal of corns or calluses and mole or wart removal.

Level three visits include new patient physicals, management of multiple chronic illnesses, steroid joint injection, aspiration of ganglion cysts, and drainage of abcesses.

A complete menu of services they offer and rates can be found on their website at www.auroramedical.clinic.

In addition to offering set pricing for medical services, the clinic has made an effort to seek out companies to do lab services that will have the least expensive costs while maintaining high quality.
