Wausau Homes Medford earns 2022 Builder of the Year
Wausau Homes Medford has been named the 2022 Builder of the Year. This is the fourth time that Wausau Homes Medford has won this prestigious award, as well becoming the first builder in Wausau Homes history to win this award in back-to-back years. Owner Jason Wanke and his team have worked hard to build a company that is dedicated to quality custom homes and top-notch customer service.
Even with another year of supply chain difficulties and subsequent price increases throughout the building industry, Wausau Homes Medford continued to build new homes in central Wisconsin. They have an unrivaled work ethic and are known for their drive to succeed, which has spread throughout the rest of their team, including Jeremy Parkes and Terry Steinman, who were part of the 2022 Builder of the Year award at this year’s annual Wausau Homes Builder Conference.
“To give out the Builder of the Year award to Medford two years in a row was an easy decision when you looked at the team’s success, customer satisfaction, growth, and commitment to quality,” explains Jay Schuette, CEO, and owner of Wausau Homes Inc. “Wausau Homes Medford builds a lot of homes over the course of the year. The Builder of the Year award is given to the builder who had the greatest sales volume, market share, operational effi ciency, and customer satisfaction ratings in each area. To be eligible for the coveted Builder of the Year title, builders must rank in the 95th percentile or higher in all major categories.
“This was the toughest, most challenging time I’ve ever seen in building with the supply chain issues for everyone,” said Wanke, owner of Wausau Homes Medford. “Even while facing all of these obstacles, we’re so grateful that we were able to continue receiving materials from our headquarters at Wausau Homes, and that people are banging on our doors for new homes for next year.
