Kayann S. Dommer, 39, Abbotsford, and Brandon W. Hoffmann, 42, Athens, were involved in an accident on June 10 at 1:22 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy 13 and CTH O in the town of Little Black. According to the accident report, both vehicles were eastbound on CTH O. The Dommer vehicle was turning south onto Hwy 13 and stopped for the stop sign at the intersection. The Dommer vehicle began to move forward but stopped for another vehicle in front of it. The Hoffman vehicle failed to stop for the Dommer vehicle and struck it from behind. Dommer sustained a suspected minor injury, but was not transported for medical treatment. Both vehicles sustained damage to their respective ends. Looked but did not see by Hoffmann was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.

Lynn F. Balciar, 63, Medford, was involved in an accident on June 12 at 5 p.m. on Billings Avenue in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Balciar vehicle was northbound on Billings Avenue and negotiating a slight curve when it left the roadway and struck a post with four mailboxes. The vehicle reentered the roadway before coming to a stop. The report stated Balciar was turning off her cell phone at the time of the accident. The vehicle sustained damage to the front, right front corner and top. The post and mailboxes were also damaged. Running off the roadway, operating a motor vehicle in an inattentive, careless or erratic manner and distracted by hand-held mobile phone by Balciar were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

Patrick J. Jochimsen, 74, Medford, James A. Wisnicky, 70, Ogema, and a vehicle owned by Peter J. Salzman, Knoxville, Tenn., were involved in an accident on June 11 at 2:30 p.m. in a parking lot at 160 South Eighth St. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, Jochimsen was walking in the parking lot toward the store. The Wisnicky vehicle was backing out of a parking space when the driver stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake. The vehicle struck Jochimsen, as well as the legally-parked and unoccupied Salzman vehicle. The impact of the collision pushed the Salzman vehicle into parking sign posts. Jochimsen sustained possible injuries and was transported to Aspirus Medford Hospital for medical treatment. The Wisnicky vehicle sustained minor damage to the rear and right rear corner. The Salzman vehicle sustained disabling damage to the right side front, right side middle, right side rear, left rear corner and left side rear. Failure to control by Wisnicky was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.

The following deer-related accident were reported: Scott G. Lindow, 57, Medford, on June 11 at 10:45 a.m. on CTH O in the town of Browning.

Vi M. Nelson, 58, Westboro, on June 11 at 8:45 p.m. on Hwy 13 in the town of Medford.
