Students receive academic honors

The following students from the area have been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie. The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of at least 3.5.

Medford — Malia Ching, Kiersten Crass, Heidi Fliehs, MaKayla Hartl, Benjamin Lindgren, Brady Loertscher, Emily Schafer, Alex Schroeder, Dain Strick, Dylan Wickersheim, Callie Woller and Bekah Wrightsman.

Rib Lake — Cody Matyka and Nicole Van Luven.

Stetsonville — Tori Lammar.

Avery Apfelbeck, Allison Brost, Dane Faber, Preston Gingras and Alec Veal, all of Medford; and Daniel Lennartz of Rib Lake were named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The following students from the area have been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. To be named to the dean’s list, a full-time undergraduate must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5.

Gilman — Grace Grunseth, Camryn Skabroud and Kaitlyn Webster.

Lublin — Trista Sweda.

Medford — Cassidy Balciar, Hannah Dassow, Bailey Hudak, Breanna Jentzsch, Sarah Rudolph, Andrea Schreiner and Abby Tomandl.

Rib Lake — Sam Rodman.

Brendan Borman, Abby Schultz and Emma Schultz, all of Medford; and Erin Probst of Rib Lake received highest academic honors for the spring semester at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0.

Makayla Herzig of Gilman and Lisa Schubert of Rib Lake received high academic honors with a GPA of 3.75 to 3.99.

Mckena Downey and Kaleb Voight, both of Medford, received academic honors with a GPA of 3.5 to 3.74.

Joy Becker, Logan Egle, Tanya Lybert, Katherine McMurry, Noah Sackmann, Aimee Swedlund and Gracie Weinke, all of Medford; and Paige Swan of Stetsonville received highest academic honors for the spring semester at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.9 to 4.0.

Kiana Haenel and Faith Piller, both of Medford; and Nickolas Retterath of Stetsonville received high academic honors with a GPA of 3.75 to 3.89.

Hannah Horenberger, Erin Lindau and Emily Shipman, all of Medford; and Leah Borchardt and Oliver Robisch, both Rib Lake, received academic honors with a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.74.

Grace Kelley of Medford has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Winona State University in Winona, Minn. by earning a grade point average of at least 3.5.

Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire has announced the following students have been named to the president’s list for the spring semester. To be eligible, students must complete a minimum of six credits with a semester grade point average of at least 3.5.

Gilman — Abagail Hicks, Amber Kremsreiter and Ethan Person

Medford — Heather Cwikla, Megan Graff, Sierra Hanson, Rileigh Heckel, Katelyn Phillips and Brynn Rau.
