Taylor County Circuit Court

Jesus Montes-Rivera, 23, Medford, pled no contest to an amended charge of operating without carrying license and forfeited $393.50. The original charge had been operating while revoked.

Probations ordered

Brian R. Hart, 45, Athens, pled on contest to an amended charge of theft of movable property less than or equal to $2,500. The original charge had been theft of movable property greater than $2,500 to $5,000. Sentence was withheld and Hart was placed on probation for one year on the condition he pay a forfeiture of $443, restitution in an amount to be determined by January 22, 2021 and supervision fees as ordered by the Department of Corrections (DOC); submit to a DNA sample; and undergo counseling as deemed appropriate by probation.

Chelsea M. Mariani, 28, Ingram, pled no contest to theft of movable property less than or equal to $2,500. Sentence was withheld and Mariani was placed on probation for two years on the condition she pay a forfeiture of $2,119.23 and supervision fees as ordered by the DOC; submit to a DNA sample; have no contact with the victims; write of letter of apology, pre-approved by probation, to the victims within 30 days of sentencing; undergo counseling as deemed appropriate by probation; and undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow through with all treatment recommendations. Mariani also pled no contest to a count of misdemeanor bail jumping, Sentence was withheld and Mariani was place on probation for two years, to run concurrent with her other probation, on the condition she pay a forfeiture of $443 and supervision fees as ordered by the DOC. All other conditions are the same as for her other probation. Two additional counts of misdemeanor bail jumping and one count of theft of movable property-special facts were dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes.

The following were granted a divorce decree: Tyler J. Oleson, 35, Weston, and Holly M. Oleson, 29, Marshfield; Neil E. Wegerer, 57, Westboro, and Joanne M. Wegerer, 54, Stetsonville.
