Judy M. Weir, 69, Medford, and Carol A. Schaefer, 70, Medford, were involved in an accident on August 24 at 11:45 a.m. in a parking lot at 230 S. Eighth St. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Weir vehicle was exiting the drive-through at Hardee’s. The Schaefer vehicle was turning into the parking lot from Eastview Road. Weir did not see the Schaefer vehicle and pulled out into the traffic lane to exit the parking lot, striking the Schaefer vehicle. The Schaefer vehicle sustained minor damage to the left side middle and left side rear. There was minor damage to the right front corner of the Weir vehicle. Looked but did not see by Weir was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.

Joshua J. Bucki, 37, Medford, was involved in an accident on August 28 at 12:07 p.m. at 721 S. Eighth St. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Bucki vehicle was pulling into the drive-through lane at Forward Financial Bank when it struck the side of the building. The vehicle sustained minor damage to the left front corner. Over-correcting/over-steering by Bucki was list in the report as a factor in the accident. He was issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

Isabelle J. Powers, 21, Stevens Point, was involved in an accident on August 30 at 1:16 p.m. on Gibson Drive in the town of Little Black. According to the accident report, the Powers vehicle was northbound on Gibson Drive when it drove onto the east shoulder and struck a mailbox. Powers over-corrected, causing the vehicle to swerve and enter the west ditch where the vehicle rolled over four times before coming to a stop on its roof. Powers sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported to Aspirus Medford Hospital for medical treatment. A passenger in the vehicle was not injured. There was damage to the entire vehicle.

Jeffrey D. Aldrich, 55, Chippewa Falls, was involved in an accident on August 29 at 8:55 p.m. on Hwy 64 in the town of Aurora. According to the accident report, the Aldrich vehicle was westbound on Hwy 64 when it struck a cow standing in the roadway. The vehicle sustained damage to the front and left front corner. The cow was returned alive to its owner.

Luisangel Priegorivera, 22, Rib Lake, was involved in an accident on August 28 at 6:45 a.m. on Mill Lane in the village of Rib lake. According to the accident report, the Priegorivera vehicle was northbound on Mill Lane approaching the stop sign at the intersection with Hwy 102 when the brakes failed. The Priegorivera vehicle went through the intersection and jumped the curb into the parking lot at C& G Mini Mart where it struck a pallet and became stuck in the grass. Priegorivera spun the tire until it started on fire. The vehicle sustained damage to the front, right front corner, left front corner and undercarriage. It was towed from the scene. Priegorivera was issued a citation for operating without a valid licensesecond offense within three years.

The following deer-related accident was reported: Mysti J. Wagner, 20, Owen, on August 23 at 11:22 p.m. on CTH A in the town of Holway.
