Correction Correction

In the court proceedings in the March 12 issue of The Star News, it was incorrectly stated Ann M. Hartwig, Medford, was ordered to perform 20 years of community service as part of a deferred prosecution agreement. Correctly, she was ordered to perform 20 hours of community service. The Star News apologizes for the mistake.

The following charges were dismissed on a prosecutor’s motions: Nicole M. Jacobsen, 18, Medford, tobacco on school property; Anthony C. Jensen, 37, Lublin, speedometer violations; Austin R. Yelkin, 27, Wausau, disorderly conduct.

The following appeared in court and entered pleas of not guilty: Alejandro C. Mendiola, 43, Marshfield, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an illegally obtained prescription; Amberlee S. Petrie a.k.a. Amberlee S. Johnson, 26, Rib Lake, disorderly conduct (domestic abuse-infliction of physical pain or injury); Christine A. Rasmussen a.k.a. Christine Anne Rasmussen, 52, Medford, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an illegally obtained prescription; Makayla R. Haizel, 21, Medford, disorderly conduct (domestic abuse-infliction of physical pain or injury).

Tabitha M. Karau, 41, Medford, pled no contest to amended charge of disorderly conduct and entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for a period of one year. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the court will dismiss the case. The original charge had been disorderly conduct-domestic abuse.

Greg A. Kautzer, 59, Medford, pled no contest to failure to maintain holding/septic tanks and entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for a period of four years. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the court will dismiss the case.

Tony C. Netzer, 39, Medford, pled no contest to disorderly conduct-domestic abuse and entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for a period of one year. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the court will dismiss the case.

Jacki K. Wilkins, 36, Medford, pled no contest to disorderly conduct and entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for a period of one year. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the court will dismiss the case.

James K. Allen, 27, Rib Lake, pled no contest to a reduced charge of speeding 16-19 mph over the limit and forfeited $200.50.

Colbe N. Bull, 16, Medford, pled no contest to a reduced charge of speeding 20-24 mph over the limit and forfeited $225.70.

Kim B. Bunkleman, 49, Medford, pled no contest to an amended charge of an ordinance violation for disorderly conduct and forfeited $330.50. The original charge had been criminal disorderly conduct.

Carlos G. Gomez Soriano, 28, Medford, pled no contest to an amended charge of operating while under the influence-first offense [prohibited alcohol concentration (PAC) greater than or equal to 0.15 percent]. The original charge had been operating while under the influence-first offense with a passenger under the age of 16 year old. Gomez Soriano forfeited $1,039, his driver’s license was revoked for seven months, an ignition interlock device is to be installed on his vehicle for one year, and he must undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow through with the driver safety plan. A count of operating with a PAC-passenger under 16 years old, PAC greater than or equal to 0.15 percent (first offense) was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.

Gomez Soriano also pled no contest to operating without a valid license-first offense and forfeited $200.50.

A separate charge of a child safety restraint violation against Gomez Soriano was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.

David C. Gruny, 72, Medford, pled no contest to failing to keep records as required, failing to keep accurate records or otherwise providing incorrect information. Gruny forfeited $544.50 and his DNR privileges were revoked/suspended for one year. His taxidermy privileges are exempt from the revocation.

Gruny also pled no contest to possession of birds in excess of bag limit and forfeited $243.

A separate charge of failure to complete registration as required (bear, deer, sharp-tailed grouse or turkey) against Gruny was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion. Dennis L. Henke, 51, Medford, pled no contest to an amended charge of an ordinance violation for disorderly conduct and forfeited $330.50. The original charge had been criminal disorderly conduct.

Kelsey J. Vahl, 29, Medford, pled no contest to an amended charge of an ordinance violation for disorderly conduct and forfeited $330.50. The original charge had been criminal disorderly conduct. A count of misdemeanor bail jumping was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.

Juan A. Vargas Carlos, 51, Plymouth, pled no contest to place, use or hunt over illegal bait/feed for bear hunting, bear dog training or deer hunting and forfeited $745.50.

A separate charge of using automatic or elevated feeders against Vargas Carlos was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.

Blake D. Wilkins, 17, Medford, pled no contest to a reduced charge of speeding 16-19 mph over the limit and forfeited $200.50.

Divorce

The following were issued a divorce decree: Robert J. Broeske, 49, Dorchester, and Donna J. Broeske, 45, Withee.
