Deana L. Cason, 34, Sheldon, and Becky J. Schreiber, 43, Antigo, were involved in an accident on January 7 at 1:20 p.m. in the parking lot of Walmart in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Cason vehicle was legally-parked in a parking space. The driver opened the driver’s side door as the Schreiber vehicle pulled into the adjacent parking space. The door of the Cason vehicle caught the side mirror of the Schreiber vehicle, causing minor damage to the door and mirror.

Rakelle S. Albrecht, 20, Medford, and Ingrid A. Purvis, 64, Medford, were involved in an accident on January 9 at 3:42 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy 64 and Crane Drive in the town of Medford. According to the accident report, both vehicles were eastbound on Hwy 64. The Albrecht vehicle slowed and the driver activated the left turn signal light to make a left turn onto Crane Drive. The Purvis vehicle began passing the Albrecht vehicle just as it began to turn left. The Albrecht vehicle sustained minor damage to the left side rear, left side middle and left side front. The Purvis vehicle sustained minor damage to the right front corner, right side front and right side middle. Failure to yield the right-of-way and improper overtaking/passing on the left by Purvis were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

Philip T. Mast, 25, Conrath, was involved in an accident on January 6 at 12:50 p.m. on Hwy 73 in the town of Roosevelt. According to the accident report, the Mast vehicle was southbound on Hwy 73 negotiating a curve in the roadway when the vehicle went off the right side of the roadway into the west ditch. The vehicle sustained minor damage to the right rear corner and left rear corner. Failure to control by Mast was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.

Jamie M. Beilke, 30, Athens, was involved in an accident on January 10 at 7:25 a.m. on Hwy 97 in the town of Goodrich. According to the accident report, the Beilke vehicle was northbound on Hwy 97 negotiating a curve in the roadway when the driver lost control on the icy pavement. The vehicle slid into a guardrail, spun around and struck the guardrail a second time before coming to a stop. The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front, right front corner, right side rear, right rear corner, rear, and left front corner. Road surface conditions and failure to control by Beilke were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

Kaitlyn A. Zygowicz, 19, Medford, was involved in an accident on January 10 at 3:20 p.m. on Park Avenue in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Zygowicz vehicle was westbound on Wheelock Avenue when the driver lost control due to a slippery spot on the roadway. The vehicle crossed the roadway, hopped over the curb on the west side of North Park Avenue and struck a tree. The report stated that, based on the damage to the vehicle, it appeared the vehicle was traveling too fast for conditions and the driver may have attempted to turn left onto North Park Avenue. The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front, right front corner, right side front and left side rear. Speeding too fast for conditions by Zygowicz was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.

Matthew R. Blasel, 28, Medford, was involved in an accident on January 11 at 5:45 p.m. on Hall Drive in the town of Browning. According to the accident report, the Blasel vehicle was northbound on Hall Drive when the driver lost control of the vehicle due to icy road conditions and the vehicle entered the ditch. The vehicle sustained minor damage to the front. The road surface condition was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.

Stacy L. Faucher, 48, Rib Lake, was involved in an accident on January 12 at 8:26 p.m. on CTH M in the town of Greenwood. According to the accident report, the Faucher vehicle was westbound on CTH M when the driver applied the brakes to avoid a deer in the roadway. The vehicle slid into the south ditch and rolled onto its roof. Faucher sustained suspected minor injuries, but was not transported for medical treatment. The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front.
